Senator Al Franken (D-MN) announced his resignation Thursday amid multiple accusations of sexual assault and from repeated calls from over 30 of his Democratic colleagues to step down. All of this started when Leeann Tweeden, a journalist who anchors at TalkRadio 790 KABC in Los Angeles, California, accused Senator Franken of fondling her while she slept and shoving his tongue down her throat without her consent.
