Jeff Sessions Orders FBI Review After Failure to Stop Shooter

Jeff Sessions Orders FBI Review After Failure to Stop Shooter
Sessions Do Better

Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered a review of the FBI after the bureau admitted it failed to properly an anonymous tip warning about the Florida shooter.  Sessions said it was clear that the warning signs were there and they were missed.  The FBI stated that an anonymous tip about the shooter in January 2018 wasn't sent to the Miami field office because of the failure to act on "established protocols."  A month later, the shooter shot and killed 17 students on February 14, 2018.  Florida Governor Rick Scott responded to the news and stated that the FBI direction, Christopher Wray, should step down.

I agree with Governor Scott that the FBI director should step down.  I also believe Jeff Sessions needs to step down as Attorney General as well.  There are too much politics that take place at the FBI.  Many personnel within the FBI need to be terminated.  If the FBI isn't going to be impartial and chase after criminal wrongdoing, regardless who the people might be, then what's the purpose of the FBI?  They're nothing but a bloated ineffective bureaucracy that's too political.  They're dysfunctional just like government as a whole seems to be.

Rep. Thomas Massie: Let Teachers Carry For Self Defense

Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY)

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is urging his Congressional colleagues to repeal federal restrictions so teachers can carry their guns for the defense of their students and themselves.  His efforts revolve around a repeal of the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990.  He introduced the repeal on January 3, 2017 and then ago two days after Nikolas Cruz made his way onto the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, shooting at defenseless victims in a gun-free zone.  Rep. Massie told Breitbart News that gun-free zones are an invitation to deranged criminals.  He said that law doesn't make our school safer.  Massie is on target.  Deranged criminals will use that as an opportunity to go inside these schools and open fire.  It's ludicrous.  Click on the above link to read the story.

Black Lives Matter Infiltrates Public Schools With Globalism, Diversity, Common Core

Black Lives Matter Infiltrates Public Schools With Globalism, Common Core
Black Lives Matter at School Emblem

The Black Lives Matter movement is using Black History Month as a vehicle to insert its agenda in the public schools across the country, using its curriculum from elementary to middle schools which include to teaching globalism, diversity, queer-affirming, lessons.  These lessons are in formats which conform to the controversial Common Core framework.  The Black Lives Matter movement wants to blame "white supremacy" on many of the ills that black people face today.  This is a movement that desires to implement a social agenda that's contrary to the Bible as well as the founding roots of this nation.  Click on the above link from Breitbart to read the story.

In Budget Deal, the GOP and Trump Fully Fund Planned Parenthood

In Budget Deal GOP and Trump Fully Fund Planned Parenthood

Despite his campaign promise to defund Planned Parenthood, President Trump signed a budget bill this past Friday to fully fund Planned Parenthood.  This bill was passed by a Republican-led Congress as well as President Trump's signature.  That's a great travesty.  That says much about the GOP in Congress.  I'm disappointed Trump signed that bill.  We need to pray for the President.  We need to turn out these RINO's in this fall's general election.  Click on the above link to read the story.

Report: Bannon Testifies to Congress
Steve Bannon

Former White House Chief Strategist and former executive chairman of Breitbart News Steve Bannon blasted establishment Republicans such as Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell for going along with Democrats in efforts to nullify the election, according to a report.  This was during a closed-door interview with the House Intelligence Committee.  He said the Russia probe launched last year was part of the "establishment" plan to nullify the election.  Rep. Trey Gowdy, was the Republican who was leading the questioning on the committee challenging Bannon.  Bannon mentioned McConnell and Ryan by name as being the establisment Republicans responsible for this.  To read the rest of the story, click on the above link from Breitbart.

Let's Have a Shutdown if Congress Can't Close Loopholes

President Donald Trump threatened a shutdown if Congress didn't act quickly to close immigration loopholes, allowing MS-1e gangs to cross our border, then let's have a shutdown.  He stated it's worth it for our country.  He said foreign countries are "laughing" at the U.S. for its weak immigration and deportation laws.  Click on the above link to read the rest of the story.

Houses Passes Short Term Spending Bill Funding Government Through March 23

House Passes Short Term Spending Bill

The House passed a stopgap spending bill that will fund the government through March 23.  The vote to fund the bill was 245-182, mostly Republican votes.  The House Freedom Caucus supported the spending bill because it will fund the Defense Department.  The spending bill also is supposed to allow the Energy department to make sales of the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserve and will finance community health centers for two years.  The government will shut down if Congress fails to pass another spending bill on Friday.  Click on the above link to read the remainder of the story.

MEMO: FBI Knew Political Origins of Dossier

MEMO: FBI Knew Political Origins of Dossier
US President Donald Trump will defend his economic record in his State of the Union address

The House Intelligence Committee released it's classified memo detailing alleged abuse by Senior FBI and Jusice Department officials on Friday, after the President approved its release.  The details are on the link above.  I'll say that I believe this whole Trump collusion dossier was simply because Trump wasn't one of them and they wanted to do everything within their power to (1) to prevent Trump being elected in 2016 and (2) they wanted to remove him as president.  They spent a year trying to find something that wasn't there.  The "Russian collusion" story was a farce and it was politically motivated.  Trump, I don't believe, is a globalist at heart and as a result, they went after Trump with the dossier.

Graham: Senate Vote on Abortion Keeps U.S. Among 7 Worst Countries in the World

Graham: Senate Vote on Abortion
Franklin Graham
Evangelist Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, gave a scathing rebuke to U.S. Senators who failed to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Children Protection Act.  Graham calls it a vote against human rights--the right to be born.  He said that advances in medical science assures the ability of undeveloped unborn infants to feel pain.  He stated that the Senate's decision places the U.S. on a list of seven nations that allow abortions beyond twenty weeks, such as China and North Korea.  Graham stated that this week the Senate was 9 votes shy of saving unborn lives.  He stated he can't imagine the regret these politicians will have one day when they stand before God when they could've done the right thing to save unborn lives.  Click on the above link to read the rest of the story.

Black History Month

Today is the first day of Black History Month.  It runs throughout the month of February.  Carter Woodson, the son of former slaves from Virginia, founded Black History Month in 1926.  It started as Negro History Week.  He chose the month of February because it was the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln, the president who was considered the "Great Emancipator" and Frederick Douglass, one of the black abolitionists in the nineteenth century prior to the ending of slavery.  Woodson was born in 1875 in Canton, Virginia.  He was a sharecropper, miner, and various other trades to help support his family.  He earned his bachelor''s and master's degrees at the University of Chicago before earning his doctorate at Harvard, the second black to do so.  Woodson believed that many African Americans in the early twentieth century didn't know much about their own heritage so he set out start Negro History Week to educate blacks about the achievements from their ancestors.  In 1976, on the 50th anniversary of the founding of Negro History Week, the association made the shift to "Black History Month."  Today black history is celebrated throughout the month of February every year.

This month we'll once again feature posts celebrating black achievements and probably various events that have taken place in black history in American society.  I don't know exactly all I'll be writing about this month, but we'll be celebrating the month on this blog.
