Ocasio-Cortez Boasts of Steering Democratic Party to the Left With Green New Deal

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is boasting of the new deal she and Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts. She cited support from 70 Democrats and from all the Democratic candidates for president in 2020. The non-binding resolution calls for a broad range of energy and economic infrastructure transformations in the U.S. from ending air travel and the combustible engine to guaranteeing jobs, housing, and health care for all Americans.
