Trump Attacks McConnelll Day After Claims of Unity

Trump Attacks McConnell Day After Claims of Unity

President Donald Trump on Twitter attacked Mitch McConnell a day after they put out statements the day before attesting to their unity.  Trump singled out both House Speaker Paul Ryan and Republican Senator Mitch McConnell for not raising the debt ceiling.  Then he singled out McConnell in another tweet for not passing health care reform.  Trump had requested that both Ryan and McConnell tie the debt ceiling legislations into the popular VA which they didn't.

I'm not in favor of raising the debt ceiling.  But I'm not going to comment on this particular issue in this post.  However, Trump hit home when he stated they should've repealed Obamacare esp. seven years later after the GOP has campaigned over the last seven years they were going to repeal Obamacare.  That's absolutely disgraceful.  The truth is the GOP has not interest in repealing Obamacare.  They're frauds and outright liars.  President Trump needs to understand the Republicans aren't his friends.  They're opposed to him just as the Democrats are opposed to Trump.  The GOP is out to undermine Trump as well as the American people who voted for Trump.  Trump needs to realize that.  Click on the link from Daily Caller to read the story.

Trump is Poised to Increase Troop Levels in Afghanistan

Trump is Poised to Increase Troop Levels in Afgthanistan

Image result for trump is poised to increase troop levels in afghanistan

President Trump is set to increase the troop levels in Afghanistan after saying the U.S. needed to get out of Afghanistan for years.  The President will address the nation tonight from Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia.  The President for the last several years bemoaned U.S. involvement in that war and the trillions of dollars that have been wasted.  I wonder if National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster is behind this?

I will tell you this, Mr. President, if you're going to increase the troop levels in Afghanistan, then the strategy in Afghanistan needs to be totally changed.  You need to change the rules of engagement and allow the troops fight until there's victory.  When victory's accomplished, then it's time for the troops to leave Afghanistan.  16 years is long enough.  A lot of money is made through wars.  It's time we end this nonsense and we either fight to win or we exit now!

The Problem is Not With White Supremacist Groups

Congressman Issa Calling For Hearing on White Supremacist

Image result for white supremacist groups

Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) is calling for the House Judiciary Committee into holding a hearing on how White nationalism is impacting civil rights in America during the wake of the racial riots that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia last weekend.  How stupid is Congressman Issa?

One thing I will tell you and that is that these White Supremacist Groups are irrelevant to the racial problem that faces America today.  Most people in America, as far as I'm concerned, don't subscribe to that.  They believe people are people, regardless of skin color.  Secondly, no white supremacist group is going to receive the attention of the national media, at least not in a positive sense.  They have no media sympathy.  Therefore, it's not necessary for media figures or politicians to devote time denouncing white supremacy.  That's not the problem when it comes to race relations in today's society.

The problem is with these so-called black "civil rights" leaders such as Al Sharpton that try to depict blacks as  being victimized by white males.  Anytime a black male is shot during the scene of a crime or a shooting, we have Black Lives Matter and other so-called civil rights groups point the finger at the police.  I don't deny there are some police officers who are bad.  Those who abuse their authority should be dealt with personally, but don't place all police officers who shoot a black in a crime scene as being racist or bigoted.  That's not always the case.  We have thugs that run loose on the streets who think they can get away with murder because they know they'll receive sympathy from certain media figures and civil rights leaders.

I believe some of the biggest racists in the country and the news media and many of our politicians.  There are those who thrive on causing strife and seeing riots take place.  One thing I'm opposed to is race baiting and many of our politicians and media figures love to race bait.  If  it wasn't for our politicians and many in our news media, I don't believe we would be having half the racial problems we have in our country today.

Trump Slams "Unconstitutional" Sanctions Bill, But Still Signs It

Trump Signs Sanctions Bill
Trump Slams “Unconstitutional” Sanctions Law, but Still Signs It

President Trump reluctantly and privately signed HR3364 on August 2nd, piling more sanctions on Russia, Iran, and North Korea.  Trump made his displeasure known in a series of statements and suggested in a message to Congress that "He may consider getting around lawmakers unconstitutional preferences" as expressed in the sanctions measure.  The White House did lobby Congress to ease some restrictions within the bill formerly dubbed, "Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act."  While Trump successfully got some changes made, he wasn't happy with the overall final product.  He referred to it as a "seriously flawed" bill.  To read the article, click on New American from the above link.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions to Unveil Crackdown on the Leakers

AG Jeff Sessions to Unveil Leaker Crackdown

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that he's going to crack down on leakers within the administration.  There have been numerous leaks taking place within the administration since the advent of the Trump administration in January.  There have been changes made within the White House the last week with the ouster of former White House Press secretary Sean Spicer, Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and today's firing of former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.   All this taking place with the new White House Chief of Staff taking place, which is retired General John Kelly who briefly ran the Department of Homeland Security.

That's great news.  There needed to be a shakeup of the White House staff.  The lack of stability with all the infighting in the Oval Office, I believe has hurt Trump in the polls recently where one poll stated that Trump was losing support in some of the key states that voted for him last November.  Click on the above link to read the article.
