Obama: ‘Maybe I Should Just Pack Up and Go Home’

Obama: ‘Maybe I Should Just Pack Up and Go Home’ | CNS News

ObamaPresident Barack Obama

I happen to agree with President Obama's statement that he should pack up and go home.  That's the best thing he can do for our country.  Better yet, he should not only go home himself but he should take Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Harry Reid, James Clyburn, Mitch McConnell, and scores of other Democrats and RINO's with him.  The best thing that can happen is for our President and Congressman to resign.  We need another president and a new slate of Representatives and Senators, regardless of political party.  They're all the problem.  I would vote in a heartbeat for him to pack up and go home.  Just take Congress and the Senate with you.

Pelosi: 'Unleash' Women Via 'Affordable Quality Childcare for All'

Pelosi: 'Unleash' Women Via 'Affordable Quality Childcare for All' | CNS News

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) AP PhotoHouse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told a gathering in Cleveland earlier this month that America needs to "unleash" women by providing "affordable" child care for all American children--a proposal which she claimed that President Richard Nixon wrongfully vetoed in 1971.  In 1971 both houses of Congress passed a bill which would require a national daycare to be established in the United States.  Nixon vetoed the bill stating that it would not be good for the family unit.  He was right.  It's not the role of government to establish childcare in the U.S.   It still isn't the role of government to establish daycare in the United States.  Children aren't "wards" of the state, which I believe Ms. Pelosi believes it's so.  It's the role of mom and dad to raise children--not the government.

If Ms. Pelosi is so concerned about unleashing women, then why doesn't government abolish the present burdensome tax code so that only a flat tax is levied amongst all Americans, regardless of income.  That would make it a lot easier for more mothers to stay home with their children.  The tax burden makes it very difficult for households to make it on one income, which is the way it should be ideally.  It's terrible when it almost requires two incomes to make ends meet.  I know there are many situations where two couples have to make an income due to various circumstances.  However, that's not the way it should be.  The truth is Ms. Pelosi and her minions want to control the daily lives of Americans.  That's unAmerican, unBiblical and anti-family.

Obama to Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz: "God Bless You"

Obama to Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz: "God Bless You" | LifeNews.com

President Obama speaking at Planned Parenthood   There's nothing more despicable than when a president invokes God's name to endorse something as evil as Planned Parenthood does--that is to suck out the life of innocent children in the mother's womb.  Planned Parenthood over the years has assisted in the murder of millions of unborn children.  It's a national travesty.  God have mercy on us as a country and God help us that our nation re-elected Barack Obama last fall.   To hear the video, click on the above link from LifeNews.com.

Politics on hold at the dedication of Bush library

Politics on hold at the dedication of Bush library | CNS News

Obama Bush LibraryFormer President George W. Bush flanked by current President Barack Obama, former presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter

On Thursday April 25, 2013 several of the former presidents gathered together to dedicated the new George W. Bush presidential library in Dallas, Texas.  Several of the former presidents praised Bush and had a very lighthearted time together.  Of course, that's something that always takes place at the dedication of a former president's library.  Truthfully speaking, they are all a group of elitists with one common goal to bring about a new world order or a one world government.  Some may say that they might have disagreements on various issues, depending upon the political party affiliation.  The truth is they have more in common with one another than some may realize.  Some of the partisan rancoring that supposedly takes place is nothing but a facade.  They are all in this together.  They are "one" with a common goal to bring about this global government.  I don't get really excited over such things as the dedication of a presidential library because I believe everything they're doing isn't for the sake of promoting America.  It's about destroying the foundation that built America.  It doesn't make any difference what political party they're affiliated with.  That's sad but I believe it's true.  These last few presidents have brought America to the point she is today, and I don't believe that's an accident.

Reps Challenge DHS Ammo Buys, Say Agency Using 1000 More Rounds Per Person Than Army

Reps challenge DHS ammo buys, say agency using 1,000 more rounds per person than Army | Fox News

Republic Rep. Jason Chaffetz stated Thursday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is using roughtly using 1000 rounds of ammuntition more per person than the U.S. Army, as he and other lawmakers sharply questioned DHS officials on their massive bullet buys.  Chaffetz stated, "It's entirely . . . inexplicable why the Department of Homeland Security needs so much ammunition."  Rep. John Tierney (D-MA) at the opening of the hearing ridiculed the concerns as "conspiracy theories" which have "no place" in the committee room.

I happen to disagree with Rep. Tierney.  If this is nothing but a conspiracy theory, then the government should level with the American people on what the motivation is for purchasing those rounds.  The government gives us numerous reasons not to trust them.  If that isn't a conspiracy theory, then Tierney and his colleagues need to explain what's going on with this.

Senators Say Bombings Should Spark Immigration Reform, not Halt Process

Senators say bombings should spark immigration reform, not halt process | Fox News

Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Charles Schumer (D-NY)

The Boston-bombings and the foreign-born suspects have become part of the Capitol Hill debates to overhaul immigration law.  I tell you what they should do.  They should not allow any more foreigners to come to America's soil given the fact there are terrorists that cross our borders.  Secondly, they don't need to overhaul our current immigration laws.  The problem is our elected elite have refuse to enforce federal laws in regards to allowing illegals to cross our borders.  We need to seal our borders and the federal government needs to comply with the laws already on the books in dealing with illegal immigrants.  It's that simple.  The truth is both Congress and the president refuse to comply with the federal immigration laws.  That's why we have foreign terrorists on U.S. soil.  We can't allow America's borders to be open to anyone coming to our country.  It's a national security risk.  Also, any foreigner in America that has ties to any Islamic terrorist group needs to be deported.  We don't need jihadists hiding in the shadows plotting America's next attack.  That will always continually happen when we don't close America's porous borders.

Another point I would like to make is any politician who supports amnesty for illegal aliens should be voted out in the next election cycle--regardless of party affiliation.  Both Democrats and Republicans, including Florida Senator Marco Rubio, are coming together to pass amnesty, which would give citizenship to those who are here illegally that have lived in America for some time.  Any immigrant who desires to become a U.S. citizenship should get in line to apply for U.S. citizenship.  That's the way it should be.  If they can't follow the rule of law to apply for U.S. citizenship then we don't need them here in America as citizens.  We shouldn't grant a group of illegals a right to citizenship if they don't go through the proper channels to become U.S. citizens.  Enough said.  To read the full story, click on the above link from FoxNews.com.

Boston Bombing Suspect Charge, Will not be Treated as Enemy Combatant

Boston bombing suspect charged, will not be treated as enemy combatant | Fox News

Bombing suspect Dzokhar Tsarnaev

The White said Monday that the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon won't be treated as an enemy combatant, which drew rebuke from GOP lawmakers who desired the administration to consider the option for the sake of intelligence gathering.  White House Press Secretary Jay Carney stated that he will prosecute this terrorist through the civilian system of justice.

What needs to be done is to check which terrorist group he has ties with.  If he has any connection to Islamic terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, then he needs to be treated an an enemy combatant.  Islamic terrorists should be handled through a military commission.  We're at war with Islamic terrorism and if he's involved with Al-Qaeda or any Islamic terrorist group, then he doesn't need to go through America's civilian court system.

Background Check Plan Defeated in Major Setback For Senate Gun Bill

Background check plan defeated in major setback for Senate gun bill | Fox News

The Senate last Wednesday defeated what was considered a "vital" background check amendment seen as the linchpin to Democrats' gun control bill, defeating a major setback to President Obama's agenda.  As a result, he lashed out at opponents in strong terms during his remarks from the Rose Garden.  The vote was 54-46, with supporters falling short of the 60-vote threshold.

President Obama and his supporters believe in placing restrictions on those who seen to purchase a handgun.  I just wonder if placing a waiting period on those who seek to purchase a handgun will keep those guns out of the wrong hands?  I kind've doubt it.  Why don't we place waiting periods on purchasing other objects such as knives or boxcutters, for example.  There are murderers who use knives as weapons.  The terrorists aboard the four jets that crashed on 9/11 used boxcutters as weapons.  The truth is people kill people.  It's not the gun itself but the person who pulls the trigger we should be most concerned about.

Boston Attack Underscores Growing Threat of IED's in America

Boston attack underscores growing threat of IEDs in America | Fox News

According to FoxNews.com, the deadly attack on the Boston Marathon highlights what might be a growing threat to American cities--the use of IED's to target large gatherings, which could inflict massive damage with a device that is difficult to detect.  Security experts says that the use of IED's are a preferred tool when it comes to terrorism in domestic or global attacks--even against the United States.  According to Bill Braniff, the executive director of the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and the Responses to Terrorism, stated, "The reason to use an IED or multiple IED's is that you're trying to create an oversized impact to cause as much disruption as possible."  I say that's very accurate.  IED's is a way to strike fear in the hearts of Americans.

IED's are makeshift bombs that are extremely destructive when detonated.  They are designed to propel shrapnel and are sometimes used in combination with toxic chemicals, radiological material, or biological toxins.

What we saw take place Monday could be just the beginning of more of these devices to terrorize American cities in the United States.  To read the full story, click on the above link from FoxNews.com.

White House Believes Deadly Boston Marathon Bombing Act of Terror

White House believes deadly Boston Marathon bombing act of terror | Fox News

Yesterday around 3:00 p.m. two explosions tore through the finish line of the world famous race going off simultaneously as throngs of onlookers watched runners compete the 26.2 mile trek.  The timing of the blasts sparked immediate suspicions of a deliberate act.  The bombing killed at least three people and injured at least 144.  The White made the statement that it believes the bombings are an act of terrorism.

As of right now we have to wait and see exactly what kind of terrorist plot this is.  Some are saying it could be a homegrown plot, or others wonder could it be Al-Qaeda or some other foreign terrorist connection.  With our borders being open to illegal immigrants, we are always in danger of foreigners from the Middle East coming to our shores.  Sad the say, the government won't call out Islam for what it is.

Authorities searched an apartment in a nearby Boston suburb of Revere as part of the investigation into the explosions.  FoxNews.com saw federal, state, and local law enforcement entering the building late Monday night.  The apartment being searched in connection to the bombings is on the 5th floor of the building.  A source close to the investigation confirmed to FoxNews.com that the person of interest is Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a 20-year Saudi.  The source said that Alhabri is a person of interest, not a suspect, and said he suffered serious injuries in the explosion.  To read the full story, click on the above link from FoxNews.com.

State Department Approves $700G Gardening Contract in Belgium Despite Sequester Warnings

State Department approves $700G gardening contract in Belgium despite sequester warnings | Fox News

It's very office all this talk from our elected elite about how painful the sequester would be if no budget was approved goes to show that wasteful spending continues matter what's said.  Our politicians will continue funding whatever pet projects they so desire, regardless the size of the national debt.  They don't care.  This sequester is a joke.  They may stop funding for tourism such as tours to the White House, Capitol Hill, or the Supreme Court, for example.  They may limit the pay and benefits of our soldiers serving overseas.  However, when there's a pet project taking place whether it be in the United States or in Belgium, money that the U.S. doesn't have will be spent on it.  That's for sure.  The quicker our elected elite spends us into a "place of no return", then the better.  They're trying to push us into a socialistic country as quick as they can.  Congress and the Obama administration act like oligarchs.  They do as they please whether the American people like it or not.  The wasteful spending never ceases.  On top of that, President Obama is going to raise our taxes so he can spend that money as fast as he can.  They can never spend enough!!

Obama Budget Proposes More Than $1 Trillion in Taxes, Fees

Obama budget proposes more than $1 trillion in taxes, fees | Fox News

President Barack Obama

President Obama's budget proposal includes everything from deductions for top earners to packs of cigarettes.  The president's newly released claim is supposed to include $580 billion in new revenue over the next decade.  However, when all taxes and fees are counted it will more than likely amount to $1 trillion.

As President Obama stated not too long ago, he's not through raising taxes.  He is correct.  He can't squeeze enough money from the average taxpayer.  The problem isn't a lack of revenue, but its too much OVERSPENDING!  The Obama administration can't spend enough.  It's spend, baby, spend.

Louisville Beats Michigan to Capture Third National Title

Michigan Wolverines vs. Louisville Cardinals - NCAA Tournament Game - Recap - April 08, 2013 - ESPN

The Cardinals celebrating their third national championship with an 82-76 win over Michigan

Louisville was down 12 points at one point in the first half, but Junior Luke Hancock emerged from the bench once again to score 22 points to propel Louisville to its third national championship.  This is Louisville's first championship in 27 years.  This year's Louisville team had great chemistry.  They played well together and fought back every time they were in a hole.  They definitely did that during Saturday's game against Wichita State and last night's game against Michigan.  Peyton Siva had 18 points against Louisville and he showed spectacular leadership in this game.  Chane Behanan scored 15 points and had 12 rebounds.  Even though he didn't play, injured teammate Kevin Ware was at the game.  His teammates made no secret that they wanted to win this game for him.  Following the game, Ware cut down a strand of the net.

This was Michigan's first time in a national championship game since 1993 when that team was led by Fab Five Chris Webber.  That team lost to North Carolina that year.  Trey Burke led all scorers at Michigan with 24 points.  Even though Michigan is a young team, they have tremendous talent and they can shoot the 3-point shot very well.  I wouldn't be surprised if they play in next year's national championship game against the University of Kentucky, who has the top recruiting class coming into next year's basketball season.

I want to congratulate the Louisville Cardinals on their 3rd national championship.  They played well together throughout the season.  That's what made the difference in this year's national champion.  When the going was tough, they didn't fold.  They were determined to win and they always found a way to win, esp. after the five overtime loss to Notre Dame earlier during the conference season.  Since that loss, Louisville won sixteen straight to win the national championship.  Louisville also won a season high 35 games this year.  The previous record high wins were in 1980, when Louisville won 33 games to win the national championship, and 33 in 2005 when Louisville went to the Final Four that year.

Taking a Look at the University of Louisville's Two Previous Championships

Sometime past 9:00 p.m. EST this evening the University of Louisville Cardinals will contend for their third national championship.  This is the first time that the Louisville Cardinals have a chance for a national championship since 1986.  Louisville will play Michigan this evening.  In the previous two championship matchups Louisville played UCLA in 1980.  That team was led by Senior Darrell Griffith.  They beat UCLA 59-54.  In 1986 Louisville beat Duke for the national title by the score of 72-69.  Freshmen Pervis Ellison led the Cardinals with 25 points and 11 rebounds.

Both of the championship Cardinal teams were coached by Denny Crum.  During his 30-year career at Louisville, Crum took the Cardinals to the Final Four six times and won the national championship two times.  This year's Louisville team is coached by Rick Pitino.  In his twelve years in his helm at Louisville, he's taken them to the Final Four three times.  This is his first year there he has a chance to win the national championship.  Here's a look at the previous two championship games Louisville played in 1980 and 1986.

Two More Democratic Senators Voice Support for Gay Marriage

Two More Democratic Senators Voice Support for Gay Marriage

Joe Donnelly (D-IN)

Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND)

Two more Democratic Senators have jumped on the political bandwagon to endorse gay marriage.  Yesterday Bill Nelson, the Democratic Senator from Florida, became the 51st Senator to endorse gay marriage.  Only a few Democratic Senators haven't voiced their support for same-sex marriage as of yet.  I wouldn't be surprised if all four of those Senators come out in support of gay marriage sometime soon.  It's just not politically expedient for them to do so as of yet.   I also expect to see more Republican Senators to publicly endorse same-sex marriage before too long.  Rob Portman, The GOP Senator from Ohio, recently came out in support of gay marriage when his son announced he was homosexual.

It's amazing how so many Senators are jumping aboard the politically correct bandwagon to support such a perversion as gay marriage.  That just goes to show how corrupt and ungodly politics are in Washington.  Almost everyone of them can be bought out at some level if the price is right.

Obama Proclaims April the Month to Teach Young People ‘How to Budget Responsibly’

Obama Proclaims April the Month to Teach Young People ‘How to Budget Responsibly’ | CNS News

Barack ObamaPresident Obama

President Obama, who has increased the national debt by $53,377 per household, has proclaimed April as "National Financial Capability Month".  April's the month to teach young people 'how to budget responsibly.'  Here we have a president who's philosophy is "Spend, baby, spend" and he wants to encourage young people the importance of living by financial principles.  Our government doesn't know how to balance a budget but they think they can teach young people how to balance a budget.

This administration has far outspent any previous administration in United States history.  They don't even care.  Spending our nation into an oblivion is what the Obama administration is all about.  The government is so fiscally irresponsible but they want to aid in helping young people how to make financial decisions.

I've heard financial guru Dave Ramsey say a number of times that you don't want to take advice from broke people.  With the national debt over $16 trillion, I believe the government has disqualified themselves from giving financial advice to young people.  To read the full story, click on the above link from CNSNews.com.

Sen. Jeff Flake: ‘We Don’t Need a Sealed Border, We Need a Secure Border’

Sen. Jeff Flake: ‘We Don’t Need a Sealed Border, We Need a Secure Border’ | CNS News

mexico borderU.S.-Mexico border

Just exactly what we need--more foolish nonsense from our elected elite such as first-term Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ).  How do you have a secure border unless you seal it?  Of course I do recognize that you seal the border except at certain checkpoints.  But unless we seal the border, how are we going to stop the influx of illegal aliens invading our land?  We can't.  The statement from Senator Flake just shows how noncomital our federal government is when it comes to stopping illegal immigration.  The truth is they have no intention of sealing and protecting our borders with neither Mexico or Canada.  The federal government, regardless of political party of ideology, want open borders.  Open borders means more illegals continue to come to our shores and it means cheap votes for our politicians.  It's preposterous!

I'm not opposed to immigration.  It needs to be legal.  It doesn't have to be complicated.  We need to stop allowing illegals to invade our land and they not be documented in this country.  If they are here to work in this country, then they should be accounted for and given work permits or visas.  If they have a desire to become a U.S. citizen, then allow them to get in line to go through the legal process to become U.S. citizens.  Before we worry about what to do with those who are illegal, we must first seal our borders so that drug-trafficking and illegals can't cross our borders.  There's untold drug-trafficking that takes place across our border that our elected elite refuse to do anything about.  Regardless whether they're Democract or Republican, they're all about amnesty.  That's what I project will happen.  Both parties will support the bill to grant amnesty to those who are here illegally in our country.

Gov. Rick Perry Vows Texas Won't be 'Held Hostage' to Obama Over Medicaid

Gov. Rick Perry vows Texas won't be 'held hostage' to Obama over Medicaid - Washington Times

Texas Governor Rick Perry vowed that he won't allow Texas to be held hostage to the Obama administration into accepting Medicaid expansions.  He said the attempt to do so would be foolish and short-sighted.  He said doing so would take up more of the state's budget.  In other words, Medicaid expansion would be too costly to the state.  I hope Governor Perry sticks to his guns.  Whether he will or not is questionable.  More times than not money does more of the talking than principle.

Obama Attends Easter Service Where Pastor Criticized the 'Religious Right'

Obama Attends Easter Service Where Pastor Criticized the 'Religious Right' | CNS News

Obama

President Obama, his wife Michelle, and his daughters Sasha and Malia attended an Episcopal church at the White House for Easter services on Sunday.  The pastor of the church preached a sermon criticizing the "captains of the religious right" for holding some people back.  The "sermon" was told by Rev. Dr. Luis Leon and it was supposedly based upon the gospel of John and the resurrection of Jesus.  It was a political sermon.  He said Jesus told Mary not to hold onto the past.  "You cannot go back and the religious right and the religious right should focus on the 'way things can be in the now.'"  He really twisted scripture there.  What Jesus told Mary had nothing to do with the liberal political points he was making.  He was trying to say that the captains of the religious right are calling for blacks to be in the back of the bus, for women to go back to the kitchen, and for immigrants to be on their side of the border.  He said the message of Easter was about the 'proclamation of victory, the victory of powerful love over loveless power.'  The message of Easter is about the risen Christ.  Christ arose from the grave and he is alive forevermore.  That's what Easter about.  It isn't some liberal or new age social gospel many of these so-called black preachers preach.  The "religious right" as Dr. Leon calls them doesn't advocate or promote blacks sit in the back of the bus or that women just be confined to the kitchen.  Being a homemaker is so much more than just being confined to the kitchen.  I for one second don't minimize the important contributions wives make in the kitchen.  They do a marvelous job cooking in the kitchen.  However, there are numerous other tasks they do in addition to cooking that one can't overlook.  Those of us who are part of the religious right support Biblical, familial values that have made America great for the last two centuries.  Concerning the issue of immigration, it's not immigration in and of itself we have a problem.  It's illegal immigration which makes America a much less secure country.  I have no problem with immigration as long as immigrants go through the proper channels to come to America.  It's that simple.

Louisville's Ware has Surgery After Fracturing Leg During NCAA Game

Louisville's Ware has surgery after fracturing leg during NCAA game | Fox News

Kevin Ware

Louisville guard Kevin Ware, whose right leg was broken during the Midwest Regional championship game between Louisville and Duke, had surgery and is now resting comfortably.  The surgery took two hours.  Ware is expected to stay in Indianapolis at least until Tuesday.  Ware landed awkwardly, with his right leg bending at almost a right angle, after he contested a shot during the first half of the game on Sunday.  His teammates wept openly as he was taken on a stretcher to the Methodist hospital.  Even as he was being treated on court, he told his teammates at least 10 times to win the game.  Louisville guard Russ Smith heard the break, which was very gruesome.  Rick Pitino, Louisville head coach said it was the same type of injury that Louisville running back Michael Bush had in football.  The injury took place right in front of the Pitino bench.  Many of those players, such as Wayne Blackshear, were overcome with emotion.
