A federal judge in Seattle issued a ruling Friday which temporarily halts Trump's executive order which temporarily bans Muslims from immigrating to the United States from seven Muslim countries that were added there during the Obama administration.  Those countries are Iraq, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Libya.  Judge James Robart of Seattle ruled that Washington State and Minnestoa could challenge the Trump order to freeze the entire refugee program for four months and ban Syrians from entering as refugees indefinitely.   Bob Ferguson, the attorney general for the state of Washington, said that Trump's executive order didn't apply.  It was Ferguson's stated that filed the lawsuit.

According to Ferguson, the travel ban significantly harms residents and mandates discrimination.  I say that's asinine.  It has nothing to do with discrimination.  It's about the national security of our country.   The executive order halts immigration from seven Muslim countries for 120 days.  It's only those countries that are hotbeds of terrorism.   It's not a Muslim ban as the media wants to report.  That's fake news.  The Trump administration was outraged over the plan and Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, stated the Justice Department will file a stay out of this outrageous order.
