Democrats Delay Votes for Donald Trump's Cabinet Picks

Democrats Delay Votes

Senate Democrats on the Finance Committee have been delaying votes for three of Trump's cabinet picks last Tuesday such as Jeff Sessions for Attorney General, Steve Mnucin for Treasury Secretary, and Tom Price for Health & Human Services Secretary.  Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions was confirmed by the committee but only by a 11-9 vote.  His nomination will go to the full Senate sometime this week, I believe.  Democrats have even boycotted some of the committee hearings on particular Trump nominees.

The Democrats, which primarily consist of Leftists and progressives, have really been showing themselves since Donald Trump was elected president last November.  It's not good.  I've dubbed a nickname for the Democratic Party and that is the Marxist Party.  That label fits them very well because the mainstream Democrats in Washington are Marxist in their thinking.  They've acted very ridiculous when it comes to Trump's cabinet choices.  I know they're going to show themselves when it's time for Neil M. Gorsuch, the Supreme Court nominee chosen by Trump, to be subjected to scrutiny during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for confirmation.  The Democrats have definitely acted foolish concerning their reaction to Trump's executive order which temporarily bans Muslim travel and Muslim immigration for 120 days in countries such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, and Yemen.  They can't come to America those 120 days.  Schumer and many Democrats have stated that Trump's order was mean-spirited and un-American.  They've even went as far to say it's unconstitutional.

I understand in Congress and the Senate, the Representatives and Senators are members of two different parties: Republican and Democrat.  I understand that there are differences of opinion on various issues in the political process.  A certain amount of diversity concerning opinions can be healthy.  However, we're speaking of issues in which both political parties should be united on.  Trump's executive order should be overwhelmingly supported by both parties, which is common sense.  The president's oath states that he is to protect America from its enemies, both foreign and domestic.  Trump wouldn't be performing his duties if he didn't issue that travel ban.  That would be treasonous.  If the Democrats in Congress don't have enough sense to support issues like that, then they need to resign from office and find a job elsewhere.  That goes for any Republican who is like that as well.  There are some issues which should never be debated because they are wrong by nature.  Abortion, gay rights, gay marriage, illegal immigration, etc. shouldn't be supported by either party.  Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles over 200+ years ago.  If our elected elite doesn't stand on the platform of God, Country, and the Constitution, then they need to resign from office.  We don't need those kind of people representing our country.  It's asinine.  The opposition that we've been seeing the last few weeks is a spiritual in nature and it's satanic.  That's against everything that's right about America and against what the Bible says.  We don't need unpatriotic politicians in office whether they be Republican or Democrat.
