Birtherism: Where it All Began

Birtherism: Where it all began - Ben Smith and Byron Tau - POLITICO.com

Could this be the real Obama birth certificate?   Donald Trump Phillip J. Berg, the attorney who filed a complaint in a federal district court on August 21, 2008 stating Barack Hussein Obama isn't a natural born citizen of the United States Barack Obama as a young boy with his sister, mother, and grandfather.  President Barack Obama

Politico.com ran a story on the subject of "Birtherism" on April 22, 2011 concerning the issue of President Barack Obama's constitutional qualifications to be president.  The issue at stake is does President Obama meet the requirements of natural-born citizenship to be president of the United States?  There's been much controversy concerning this issue.  There are a few that have been steadfast at tracking this story such as the World Net Daily website from the very beginning.  World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah has been at the forefront of this issue.  He and the research team at WND have devoted much time in researching the roots of Barack Obama.  Jerome Corsi, an editor at WND as well as an author, went to Kenya a few years ago to determine if Barack Obama was born in Kenya.  Obama's grandmother says that he was born in Kenya.  Corsi has a new book he's soon to publish on the subject of President Obama's birth certificate.  According to some polls, approximatley 38 percent of Americans believe that President Obama is eligible to be president.  More Americans are doubting that Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president.  Since Donald Trump has been hinting for the last few months he's considering a run for president, Trump has been hammering on the theme that Barack Obama needs to release his long-form birth certificate before the American public.  President Obama finally had his "long-form" birth certificate released not too long ago.  He did so because of the pressure he was receiving to release his birth certificate to prove his eligibility to be president.  I have a copy of the long-form birth certificate on this particular post.

Here's the issue: President Obama's mother is a citizen of the United States but his father, Barack Obama Sr. wasn't.  Obama Sr. was a citizen from Kenya.  Therefore, if he is a natural-born citizen, it would've had to been passed on by his mother because his father was a citizen of another country.  I don't know the citizenship laws of the state of Hawaii, but Joseph Farah and others have stated that both parents would've had to be U.S. citizens to pass on natural-born citizenship status to Barack Obama.  As of right now, I have to defer to what Farah has said..  Since I don't know all the legalities of the natural-born citizenship issue concerning Barack Obama, I have to give Obama the benefit of a doubt until proven otherwise.  It wouldn't surprise me if it were to be proven that Obama isn't constitutionally qualified to be president.  If the courts would have the courage to explore this monumental issue in regards to the Constitution and if they prove that Obama isn't qualified to be president, he should be forced to step down immediately.  If nothing else, Obama definitely should be disqualified from running for a second term in 2012.  One reason why it's so important to get to the bottom of this issue is because we have another presidential election next year.  It would be foolish for Obama to run for re-election if it were proven he's not constitutionally qualified to serve as president.  The problem is the courts, Congress, nor the media for the most part care about the Constitution.  They want Obama as president because he fulfills a major role in implementing the New World Order agenda.  All they care about is the agenda; not the Constitution.  Our politicians have been shredding the Constitution for the last several decades with their progressive policies.  Nevertheless, qualifications in running for the presidency is very serious.  The Constitution has it set up that the president must to be a natural-born citizen so there won't be any type of appearance of divided loyalties upon the chief executive of the nation's highest office.

The media likes to ridicule and dub those who question Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as president as "Birthers".  I don't like to use that phrase simply because this is a legitimate constitutional issue.  This is not a right-wing conspiracy front who hates Obama and are a bunch of racists.  This is an issue about the constitutional qualification on whether or not President Barack Obama is a natural-born citizen of the United States.  Take a look at the scrutiny that Senator and then presidential candidate John McCain faced in 2008 over his natural-born citizenship status.  The reason why there was questions concerning his qualification to run for president was simply because he wasn't born in the United States.  He was born in the Panama Canal Zone due to the fact that his father was in the Navy and he and his family was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone.  Both his parents were already citizens of the United States.  Nonetheless, they were both able to pass on natural-born citizenship status to John McCain.  The Senate finally authenticated John McCain's claim to run for president in 2008.  Why wasn't Obama vetted for the presidency just like McCain had to?

I want to quickly point out a mistake the media has made when they speak of the birth certificate issue.  I hear this even among mainline conservative media such as Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh.  The media has made reference to the question on where Barack Obama was born.  Frankly, I could care less about where he was born.  That's immaterial.  President Obama could've been born in Kenya and still be a natural-born citizen of the United States if one or both his parents met the qualifications of United States citizenship.  The question concerning the natural-born status of a presidential candidate is could one or both parents pass on natural-born citizenship requirements at the time their offspring were born?  That's the issue.  The issue concerning Obama's birthplace or even the birth certificate itself is a red herring.  Research has indicated that Barack Obama was adopted by his mother's husband, Lolo Soetoro, while he lived in Indonesia.  It's also been said that Obama's legal name is Barry Soetoro, not Barack Obama.  That poses a problem right there. Another issue concerning Obama's past was when he was a young adult, he obtained a passport to go to Pakistan probably in the late 1970's.  During that time, the U.S. wasn't in good relations with Pakistan.  Where did Obama obtain his passport?  If Obama's passport to Pakistan came to the forefront, that would reveal whether or not he's a citizen of the United States.  Another issue concerning Obama's past is his college records were sealed and nobody has access to see them.  Why are they important?  Because his college records would indicate whether or not he's a U.S. citizen or if he's a foreign student.  There are several unanswered questions about Obama that could reveal whether or not Obama's truly qualified to run for president.  Prior to the released of the "long-form" birth certificate, Obama had spent over two million dollars to prevent the public from seeing his birth certificate.  Why would he spend so much money in court to prevent the public from seeing his birth certificate?  It might be because he can't prove he's a natural-born citizen.  Only time and evidence will reveal the truth.

Article 2 Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution states: No person, except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President, neither shall any Person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

I remember first hearing about the case of Barack Obama's eligibility for the office of president as far back as the summer of 2008.  I think I heard about it right after Philadelphia attorney and former Philadelphia Deputy Attorney General Phillip J. Berg filed a lawsuit on August 21, 2008 in a district court alleging that Barack Obama doesn't meet constitutional qualifications for U.S. President.  I recall hearing radio talk show host Jim Sumpter covering this issue prior to the 2008 presidency and he's been consistent and in the forefront on covering this issue in the last three years.  World Net Daily has been faithful in covering this issue.  To find out further information concerning Obama's natural-born status, click onto WorldNetDaily.com and it will present you numerous stories about the birth certificate issue.  Jerome Corsi will soon have his new book published which is entitled, "Where's the Birth Certificate?"  I highly recommend anybody that cares about and is concerned about the future of America to purchase a copy of this new book.  I haven't personally conducted much research myself on this subject, so I can't authenticate the information that's been given.  However, the information that's been presented sounds plausible.  I would request any highly thinking individual to ponder over the material that will be covered the next few Saturdays on this subject regarding Obama's natural-born citizenship status.  One of the reasons why I don't have a probem in presenting the information about this subject is simply because the lawyer who sued over the constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama is a lifelong Democrat.  Phillip Berg is not a right-wing Republican.  He was a supporter of Hillary Clinton in the 2008 presidential primary.  He's a member of the NAACP.  He's a white Jew.  He wasn't a fan of the George W. Bush administration.  He thought the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were nonsense.  He brought a RICO lawsuit against the previous presidential administration under former president George W. Bush for being complicit in the 9/11 attacks.  The first time I heard Berg interviewed was in October 2008 when radio talk show host Michael Savage interviewed Berg concerning the issue of Obama's eligibility to run for president.  Since that time he's been interviewed by other radio talk show hosts such as Jim Sumpter, Laurie Roth, and Bill Cunningham, to name a few.  From what little I've listened to the information presented by Berg, he sounds like he's a credible source.  He has a lot of courage to put himself on the line in exposing Barack Obama when you consider that Berg's a lifelong Democrat himself.  I don't know much about his political views.  I think I heard him one time say he's moderate to liberal on a number of political issues.  He mentions that there's much about Barack Obama or Barry Soetoro that we don't know much about.  If you what to know more about the issue concerning Obama's eligibility, visit Berg's website Obamacrimes.com.

For the next few Saturdays, I'll be posting YouTube video clips about the birth certificate issue concerning Barack Obama.  You'll hear radio personality Alex Jones interviewing Philadelphia attorney Phillip J. Berg concerning the natural-born citizenship issue of President Obama.  Also, click on the above link from Politico.com which gives details about the origins of "Birtherism" and when the issue of Barack Obama's eligibility for office first emerged.   I would encourage you to have an open mind about this subject.  This is a legitimate issue.  It's a constitutional issue.  This isn't a vast, right-wing, racist, conspiracy theory.  If it's proven that Obama's a phony and a  fraud as Berg alleges, then Obama's been a usurper of the White House since 2009 and all his policies and appointments are illegitimate.  I know at this stage it would be difficult to undo all his actions since assuming office in 2009.  However, the 2012 presidential election is coming up.  The reason why this case needs to be pursued with vigor is for no other reason than to determine Obama's eligibility as president because of next year's election.  If Obama's not constitutionally eligible to occupy the office of the president, he should automatically be disqualified from running for re-election in 2012.

Farah and the others are WRONG. The reason that the Electoral College gave Obama exactly the same number of electoral votes as he won in the general election is that not a single elector believes in the two parent theory. The reason that the US Congress voted to confirm Obama's election UNANIMOUSLY is that not a single member of congress believes in the two parent theory.

“Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.” — Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition

“Under the longstanding English common-law principle of jus soli, persons born within the territory of the sovereign (other than children of enemy aliens or foreign diplomats) are citizens from birth. Thus, those persons born within the United States are "natural born citizens" and eligible to be President. Much less certain, however, is whether children born abroad of United States citizens are "natural born citizens" eligible to serve as President ..."---- Edwin Meese, et al, THE HERITAGE GUIDE TO THE CONSTITUTION (2005) [Edwin Meese was Ronald Reagan’s attorney general, and the Heritage Foundation is a well-known Conservative organization.]
