The 2011 Kentucky Primary Results

Governor (Republicans)
 Phil Moffett David Williams
 Bobbie Holsclaw

David Williams won the gubernatorial primary.  He will face Democratic incumbent Steve Beshear in the Fall General Elections.

Lt. Governor Candidates (Republican)

Mike Harmon (State Representative) He was Phil Moffett's running mate

Bill Vermillion  (Running with Bobbie Holsclaw)

Richie Farmer (Running with David Williams)  Farmer is current Commissioner of Agriculture.  He will be on the fall ballot with David Williams.

Jerry Abramson (Running with current Governor Steve Beshear)


Secretary of State (Republicans)

  Hilda Legg  Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson defeated Hilda Legg with 50.42% of the votes.

Secretary of State (Democrats)
Allison Lundergan Grimes Elaine Walker

Grimes defeated Democratic incumbent Elaine Walker for Democratic nomination for Secretary of State in the fall.   Grimes will face Bill Johnson in the November election.

Auditor of Public Accounts (Republican)
John T. Kemper III Addia Kathryn Wuchner

Kemper defeated Wuchner to win the Republican nomination.  He will face Democrat Adam Edelen in the general election.  Edelen was unopposed in the Democratic Primary.

K.C. Crosbie (Republican candidate who was unopposed in the Primary).  Crosbie will face Hollenbach for the General election.

Commissioner of Agriculture (Republican)

Commissioner of Agriculture (Democrats)

B.D. Wilson Stewart Gritton

David Lynn Williams Bob Farmer

James R. Comer defeated Rob Rothenburger for the Republican nomination for Commissioner of Agriculture.  Comer will face Bob Farmer, the Democratic nominee in the fall election.  Farmer beat Williams, Gritton, and Wilson for the Democratic nomination.
