Police and law enforcement agencies have a higher approval rating than President Joe Biden.  According to an NBC survey this past Thursday, Biden has an 8 percentage point lower approval rating than the police and law enforcement.  The poll shows Biden has a 50% approval rating while the law enforcement has a 58% approval rating.  The poll comes after the President addressed Congress about the need to further radical social welfare programs and packages.  He's received the lowest ratings in years for any president with the exception of Donald Trump, and Donald Trump's press coverage in 2017 was far more unfavorable than Biden's presss coverage today.  Preliminary data also show 75% few Americans watched Biden's speech to a joint session of Congress compared to former president Trump's in 2017.  About 11.6 million viewers viewed the speech, according to Nielsen's initial ratings data.

Biden's approval ratings should be lower than the law enforcement agencies.  To tell it should be far less than what it already is.  Yes, there are police officers that abuse their authority.  The answer if for them to be terminated by the police department.  It's that simple, if they abuse their authority, then terminate them. However, the call from celebrities to defund the police is asinine.  To tell you the truth, we probably would have a much greater reason to call for the defunding of Congress and the presidency.  Some of the most corrupt people reside in the halls of Congress.  Those people need to be voted out in the next election.  The corruption in our government as far as I'm concerned is far worse than what we find in the police departments across the United States.  Yes, we need to call law enforcement to accountability, but the same thing needs to be done to our elected officials in our government as well.  There's no accountability concerning our elected officials.  They sneak whatever pork they so desire into the bills before Congress and include things that shouldn't be a part of that bill.  That's absurd.  The calls for accountability for our law enforcement officers need to be also applied to our elected elite.
