U.S. Military to Accept Transgender Recruits on Monday

U.S. Military to Accept Transgender Recruits on Monday

Transgender people will be allowed for the first time to enlist for the military starting Monday January 1st, as ordered by the federal courts.  The Pentagon made the statement after President Trump's administration decided not to appeal rulings that blocked his transgender ban.  Two federal appeals courts, one in Washington, and one in Virginia, rejected the administration's request to put on hold orders by lower court judges requiring the military to start accepting transgender recruits on January 1.  A Justice Department official stated the administration will not challenge this rulings.  The Department of Defense has announced it will be releasing an independent study of these issues in the coming weeks.  Therefore the administration has decided not to litigate this appeal until the independent study is released.

President Trump is making a wrong decision not to appeal this court ruling.  People that have a "gender identity" problem have not only a spiritual problem, but a mental problem.  We should treat those people like we would those who have other mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar and other ones.  That's not natural for people to have those kinds of problems.  The problem is we have a society that's trying to destroy what the real meaning of manhood and womanhood is.  There's an attack on the home today like never before.  Boys and girls are growing up in this society confused about who they are and what their purpose is.  It will cause more harm than good allowing transgenders to enlist in the military.  It will weaken the military.  Click on the above link to read the rest of the story.

Tom Fitton: Robert Mueller Investigation Now 'Irredeemably Compromised'

Tom Fitton: Robert Mueller Investigation Now 'Irredeemably compromised"

FILE - In this Oct. 28, 2013, file photo, former FBI Director Robert Mueller is seated before President Barack Obama and FBI Director James Comey arrive at an installation ceremony at FBI Headquarters in Washington. A veteran FBI counterintelligence agent was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating Russian election meddling after the discovery of an exchange of text messages seen as potentially anti-President Donald Trump, a person familiar with the matter said Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak, File)
Robert Mueller, Former FBI Director (2001-13)

Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch, joined Breitbart News Daily Serious XM host Raheem Kassan to discuss the ongoing investigation into the election probe of 2016 being led by Special Counselor Robert Mueller.  Fitton was commenting about all the anti-Trump activists that are at the heart of the special council such as "Andrew Weisman" who is considered a key prosecutor on Mueller's team.  Weisman is also the Department of Justice official who praised acting Attorney General Sally Yates for not defending President Trump's travel ban.  Yates also attended Hillary Clinton's election night celebration which thankfully didn't take place.  Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) who met with Fitton earlier this year has alleged that the FBI was working against Trump's election, and stated that Jordan believed that there was an orchestrated effort against Trump.

This whole Robert Mueller investigation is nothing but a farce.  This whole thing was designed to stop Trump from implementing the agenda that he campaigned on.  All this Trump collusion ordeal with Russia is unfounded.  Those that are on Mueller's special counsel are very pro-Hillary and very anti-Trump.  How can you expect a fair and unbiased investigation when everything's stacked against you?  You can't.  Trump isn't perfect, but there's no evidence of Russian collusion.  These hacks are looking for something to stop Trump from moving forward.  It's very corrupt and crooked.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Mosul Celebrates First Post-Islamic State Christmas

Mosul Celebrates First Post-Islamic State Christmas
Iraqi security forces stand guard as Christians attend a Christmas Eve service at the Mar Shimoni church in the town of Bartalla near Mosul on December 24, 2016 for the first time since its recapture from Islamic State (IS) jihadists. IS seized Bartalla and swathes of other territory north and west of Baghdad in the summer of 2014, leaving Christians with the grim choices of conversion, paying a tax, fleeing or death. The town was recaptured as part of the massive military operation to retake Mosul, the last IS-held Iraqi city, which was launched on October 17. / AFP / SAFIN HAMED (Photo credit should read SAFIN HAMED/AFP/Getty Images)

Tens of thousands of Christians fled a northern Iraqi town in 2014 as the Islamic State group seized Mosul and swaths of the Nineveh province.  But Iraqi forces expelled the jihadists from the city this year, allowing Christians to return to pray at St. Paul's church in Mosul.  Hymns filled a church in Iraq's second city Mosul as worshippers celebrated Christmas for the first time in four years.  Click on the above link to read the story.

Iraqi's Erect a 30-Foot Christmas Tree in Baghdad to Celebrate the Defeat of ISIS

Iraqi's Erect a 30-Foot Christmas Tree in Baghdad to celebrate the Defeat of ISIS
Iraqi Christians have raised a 30-ft. tall Christmas tree in Baghdad to celebrate both the holiday and the expulsion of ISIS extremists by Iraq Security Forces.

Residents of Baghdad have erected a 30-feet tall Christmas tree to celebrate Christmas and to mark the end of the terror army Islamic State (ISIS) beaten back by Iraqi Security Forces.  The giant tree made international news according to a Fox News tweet which read, "Iraqi Christians have raise a 30-ft. tall Christmas tree in Baghdad to celebrate both the holiday and the expulsion of ISIS extremists by Iraq Security Forces."  Presidential spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders also remarked on the incredible display in a December 24 tweet reading, "Thank God for the President's leadership in fight to defeat ISIS."

New Research Shows Christmas Story Visit by Wise Men was 'Historically True'

New Research Shows Christmas Story Visit by Wise Men was 'Historically True'

Despite modern attempts by Biblical scholarship to debunk the gospel account of of the three magi visiting the newborn Jesus in Bethlehem, the stories were "historically true" according to extensive research by Dwight Longenecker in his book entitled, Mystery of rhe Magi: The Quest to Identify the Three Wise Men states that an impartial study of the relevant data "shows beyond reasonable doubt" that the Magi of Matthew's gospel were historical figures and not fictitious.  For many years, according to Longenecker, scholars have tended to rejected the infancy narrative for a number of reasons.  One of them is that they contain supernatural elements.  Longenecker stated that many skeptics tend to assume any story that contains supernatural elements must be a fanciful invention.  He stated in the early twentieth century Bible scholars wrote off the stories of Jesus' birth, especially the wise men, as pious fantasies without considering these stories might be rooted in real-life events.  Assuming that the Magi story was pious fiction, scholars didn't take time to investigate, the political, historical, geographical, and cultural connections that come together to show that the visit of the Magi was historical.

Longenecker comes to the conclusion that the visitors from the East were historical figures, and were probably Nabataeans, who shared an ancient ancestry and world view with the Jews.  Herod the Great was brought up by the Nabataeans, and with a Nabataean mother, was forging an alliance with the Nabataean king at the time of Christ's birth in 6 B.C.

Back in the twentieth century, a method called Higher Criticism was employed to explain away the miracles and the supernatural elements of the Bible.  There have been forces for some time that have been trying to discredit the Bible as God's word.  They want to make it appear like it's a book like any other famous historical or poetic book.  Even though God's Word contains history and poetry, it's God's word that is true and 100% accurate.  The Bible says in [1Co 1:25-29 KJV] 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.  God doesn't need man's wisdom to explain the Bible.  Some things you can't explain away or figure out.  God is God and if he desires for a donkey to speak, he can make it speak.  How he would do it, I don't know, but God doesn't need my wisdom to explain the supernatural elements of the Bible.  It goes to show even science backs up the Bible.

Merry Christmas

[Luk 2:1-14 KJV] 1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 ([And] this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The Season of Advent

The Season of Advent

Image result for the tradition of advent

Advent is the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas or sometimes the period from December 1 to Christmas Day.  The term Advent means "Coming" in Latin.  This is the period of celebrating the Lord's first arrival into this world as a newborn babe.  Christians use the four Sundays and week of Advent to prepare, remember and meditate upon the real meaning of Christmas.  There are three meanings of "coming" that Christians ascribe to the in the Advent.  The first meaning of "coming" is when Jesus came into this world to be born of a virgin, to live as a man, and to die for the sins of mankind.  The second can take place now if you'll repent of your sins and invite Jesus to reign in your heart.  The third meaning of "coming" is for the future when Jesus comes back to this world a second time and King and Judge.

Advent Sunday can be on the 27th of November (which it was in 2016) until the 3rd of December (which it was in 2017).  Advent only starts on the 1st of December when Christmas Day is on a Wednesday.

No one is certain when Advent was first celebrating but it dates back to at least 567 when monks were ordered to fast during December leading up to Christmas.  Some people fast (abstain from food) during Advent to help them concentrate on celebrate Jesus' coming.  In many Orthodox and Eastern Catholic churches Advent lasts for 40 days and starts on November 15 and is called the Nativity Fast.

There are two types of candles that are used to count down to Christmas Day in Advent.  The first looks like a normal candle, but has the days up to Christmas day marked down the candle.  On the first of December the candle is lit and burned down to the first line on the candle.  The same is done every day and then the rest of the candle is burned on Christmas Day.  Lutheran churches in Scandinavia used 24 little candles to count down through December through the 1700's.

An Advent Crown is another form of candles used to count down Advent.  They are often used in churches rather than peoples' homes.  The crown is often made up of a wreath of greenery and has four candles round the outside and one in the middle or a separate place.  Sometimes a more traditional candelabra is used to display the five candles.  One candle is lit on the first Sunday of Advent, two are lit on the second Sunday and so forth.  Each candle has a different meaning in Christianity.  Different churches have granted them different meanings.

1.  The first represents Isaiah and other prophets in the Bible that predict the coming of Jesus.

2.  The second represents the Bible.

3.  The third represents Mary, the mother of Jesus

4.  The fourth represents John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, who told people in Israel to prepare for the Lord's coming.

The middle or separate candle is lit on Christmas Day which represents Jesus, the light of the world.  In Germany, the fifth candle is known as "Heiligabend' and is lit on Christmas Eve.  In many churches the color purple is used to signify the season of Advent.  On the third Sunday, representing Mary, the color is sometimes changed to pink or rose.

Robert Shaw Christmas Album 3

We Celebrate Christ's Birth Because He Lives

Because He Lives by the Gaither Trio 1972

In the early 1970's, Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote a song entitled, "Because He Lives."  The couple was going through a tumultuous time in their lives.  Gloria just had their third child.  Bill was suffering from mononucleosis and Gloria was overwhelmed with all the social unrest that was taking place in our society.  America's educational system was promulgating the "God is dead" movement.  There were all sorts of protests that were transpiring in America.  There was major demonstrations taking place against America's involvement in the Vietnam War.  One evening, she felt the peace and assurance from God that everything was going to be fine.  It will be fine because He lives and sits on the throne on high.   Out of that experience, a song was born and it's been an inspiration since that time.

When you think of the verses that comprise the song, our whole reason we live and do the things we do is simply because He lives.  The reason why we have the church, the reason why the church is engaged in outreach to the community is simply "because He lives."  If Jesus' corpse was still in the tomb, then we would be the most miserable of people.  (I Corinthians 15:19)

Tomorrow we'll officially be celebrating the birth of Christ.  He came into this world over 2000 years ago to be born of a virgin that we might experience the eternal life he has for us.  However, Christ's birth into this world wouldn't be much different than the birth of any historical person with the exception that Christ lived a sinless life (I John 3:5).  Nevertheless, when we celebrate Christ's birth on Christmas day, we aren't just celebrating the birth of some historical person that lived and walked on earth and one day died upon an old rugged cross.  There's more to it.  Jesus remained the the grave three days and three nights and then he arose from the grave.  He's alive and sitteth at the right hand of the Father (I Peter 3:22).  Because Jesus arose from the grave, we have hope of eternal life.  Because he arose from the grave, He lives today.  HE's alive forevermore.  Death and hell have been conquered.  We have victory in this life because of the sacrifice he paid on Calvary along with His resurrection.  He lives today.  Because of that, we can enjoy the Christmas season in remembrance of the fact that God sent his son into this old sinful world to be born of a virgin and had to be placed in a stable because there was no room for him in the inn.  The wise men came to worship the king.  The angels were rejoicing.  What a time that was.  I know there's nothing in the Bible that compels us to celebrate the birth of Christ, but if there wasn't a birth, there would've been no death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Merry Christmas.

Nightmare Before Christmas: Trump Re-Nominates Architect of Obama's LGBT Agenda

Nightmare Before Christmas: Trump Re-Nominates Architect of Obama's LGBT Agenda

Chai Feldblum LGBT activist re-nominated to EEOC

What a nightmare!  President Trump, have you lost your mind?  President Trump has re-nominated a nightmare of a candidate to remain at the helm of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  Chai Feldblum, who was the architect of former President Obama's LGBT agenda, is a nightmare of a nominee for those who hold dear the truths concerning religious freedom, the traditional family unit which consists of the mom, dad, and children, the truth that there are two distinct genders such as male and female.  She made the statement that whenever LGBT issues conflict with private property and religious liberty rights, then private property and religious liberty rights should lose.  In other words, nothing should stand in the way of the "rights" of the LGBT movement.  How demented!  Feldblum is the architect of the most radical LGBT rights agenda there is whether it be transvestites in girls locker rooms, and a tremendous expansion of federal employment oversight.

Now the question is, why would Trump re-nominate someone of that caliber that would go contrary to the agenda he's supposedly promoting?  That's a good question.  Could it be that he's a fraud and doesn't really believe in what he campaigned on?  Or could the appointment be encouraged by Trump's daughter and son-in-law Ivanka and Jared Kushner.  Both Ivanka and Jared are liberal in their politics and they support the LGBT movement.  I'll also say this: I don't believe Trump's in charge of everything that takes place in our government.  Those that are in charge of our government or our elected elite are the globalist elite that are un-elected.  They're the ones that promote this kind of junk.  I believer billionaire George Soros funds and promotes this kind of perversion along with others that we aren't aware of.  I envision Trump as a deal maker politically and there are many times he'll make the right decisions that are very pro-America or as he would say it, "America First".  There are other time, he'll give in to whatever the globalists desire, such as I believe Feldblum's renomination.  That's tragic, but Trump's really not in charge of everything.  If Ted Cruz was president, I believe he do the same thing Trump does at times.  Sometimes Cruz will make decisions that's good for the country, the other times he will capitulate to the demands of the globalists.  That's how it is.  Let's pray and hope Trump will tilt in the favor of doing what's best for America more times than he will than the decision he just made to renominate Chai Feldblum for EEOC.

Christmas in Brazil

Christmas in Brazil
Image result for christmas in brazil Image result for christmas in brazil

Many Brazilian Christmas traditions come from Portugal as Portugal ruled Brazil for many years.  Nativity scenes known as Presepio are very popular.  They are set up in churches and homes throughout all December.  Christmas plays called 'Os Pastores' the Shepherds, like the plays in Mexico, are very popular.  In the Brazilian versions of the play, there's also traditionally a shepherdess and a also a woman who tries to steal the baby Jesus.  Most people, esp. Catholics, attend a Midnight Mass Service or Missa de Galo (The Mass of the Roster).  The mass normally finishes around 1:00 a.m.  On Christmas Day, people might attend church again, but it's often in the afternoon.  After the Missa de Gallo, there are often big fireworks displays and in big towns and cities there are big Christmas Tree shaped displays of electric lights.  In Brazil, Santa Claus is often referred to as Papai Noel & Born Velhinho (Good Old Man).

Many Christmas customs are similar to the ones in the USA or the UK except its hot at Christmas time in Brazil.  Many people like to hang out at the beach.  Sometimes children leave a sock near the window.  If Santa finds the sock, then he'll exchange it for a present.  Also, many people in Brazil take part in the Secret Santa (Amigo Secreto) in Brazil.  It is traditional to give small gifts throughout December by using a pretend name.  On Christmas Day, people reveal who their Amigo Secreto is.  the most popular Christmas song in Brazil is Silent Night.  In Brazil it's common to get a '13th salary' at the end of the year, which is twice the normal amount of pay you receive for that month.  They do that to help boost the economy in Brazil for December.  That's been taking place for decades.  Favorite foods in Brazil include pork, turkey, ham, salads, and fresh and dried fruits.  Everything is served with rice, cooked with raisins, and a spoon of 'farfofa' which is seasoned manoic flower.  Popular Christmas desserts include tropical and ice cream.  Epiphany, where people remember the wise men visiting Jesus, is widely celebrated in Brazil.
