Nikki Haley Threatens to Yank Funding From U.N. Over Jerusalem Recognition
U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley today threatened to yank U.N. funding from the U.N. body in response to the United Nations condemning President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Haley made some very strong remarks against the U.N. in their bias against Israel. She has consistently grilled various U.N. officials over their anti-Israel and anti-America stance. The latest decision from the U.N. General Assembly singles out the U.S. for a decision in line with it's long-standing U.S. policy, and it seeks to shame the U.S. Haley was very critical of the appalling human rights record of other countries such as Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and Cuba--which all three remain on the human rights council. Haley's remarks came a day after Trump warned about pulling money from nations that "take our money and vote against us." Haley remarked that the vote against Israel will be remembered.
