President Trump has made a huge mistake concerning his Department of Homeland Security nominee. Kirstjen Nielsen was praised by a slew of officials for President George W. Bush's who were strong amnesty advocates and were members of the failed 'Never Trump' movement. Her nomination has been praised by the cheap foreign labor lobby, open borders advocate, and the Washington, D.C. establishment. Nielsen's nomination should result in her sailing through the Senate confirmation process, sad to say. Both political parties support amnesty for illegals. Nielsen also supports DACA.
Nielsen's support for amnesty for illegals and for DACA and open borders flies in the face of what President Trump stated when he ran for president he says he believe. Trump supposedly is for building a border wall and has signed executive agreements on restricting travel for Muslims coming from countries that are terrorists hotspots. Whomever gave him advice on nominating Nielsen gave him terrible advice that contradicts Trump's agenda.
