The Washington Times states the Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) a few years ago was actually urging the IRS to target conservative groups for extra oversight. Now Baucus is supposedly leading the current investigation against the IRS's targeting of various conservative-minded non-profit groups. He is the one responsible for once urging the IRS to target conservative groups. Now he's switching sides which I believe is because criticizing the IRS offers him political expediency. Political expediency is what these politicians are all about. Anything that's politically expedient they go for. He's nothing but a hypocrite and part of the problem with Washington.
