Glenn Beck on the State of the GOP

Sean Hannity hosted Glenn Beck on his program this past Monday evening on December 2, 2013.  They were both speaking about the GOP and the shape they are in politically as a party.  Glenn Beck was giving his insight on the state of the GOP.  Glenn Beck rightly pointed out that Progressivism is in the Republican Party just like it's in the Democratic Party.  Beck sighted examples such as John McCain and Lindsay Graham.  Both of them are Progressives.  I recall McCain stating when he was running for president in 2008 that he was a fan of Theodore Roosevelt, who started Progressivism in the Republican Party.  Progressivism is part of their problem, even though the Democrats are way past that.  They are communists.

I've stated this numerous times before and it bears repeating that the problem I have with the GOP isn't people such as John McCain and Lindsay Graham, even though they are a problem.  The problem I have is with RINO's such as Michelle Bachman, Paul Ryan or even Rand Paul.  It isn't the talking points they give on talk shows or necessarily the way they vote.  I have problem with some of the lame attempts that are used to stop Obamacare for example.  I thought the lame strategy that Republican Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz used was foolish.  The House is to defund Obamacare and they do it through the method called "Blue Slipping."  There didn't need to be a government shutdown to accomplish this.  I believe all 535 Congressmen and Senators are all in this together.  I believe Michelle Bachmann is just as much in the game as the Democrats and other Republicans are.  I believe they just play their little role.  What's infuriating is they don't make waves and do what's needed to stop Obama's agenda in its tracks.  I'm not insinuating when they first ran for office they weren't sincere.  Consequently, they've been relegated to the role they're in and I'm sure they're told if they try to defund Obamacare, there would be major consequences.  It's tragic.  We need candidates to run for office that are willing to stand and be unpopular.  They need to be willing to pay the price whatever the cost.  If they can't do that, then they don't need to run for office.  That's how serious it is.
