Trump Isn't Going to Win the 2024 Presidential Race if He Decides to Run

I was listening to Pat Robertson on the 700 Club YouTube clip today.  Robertson is 90 years old.  I've listened to him off and on for a number of years.  Even though I don't always see eye to eye with him on everything he says, one thing he mentioned in today's show that I believe he was right about.  He stated that President Trump eyeing a 2024 presidential run is a sideshow and Trump has had his time as president.  He stated right now our biggest concern needs to be the 2020 Senatorial races which will feature a runoff on January 5.  Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue face challenges against Democrats Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.  If by chance neither one of them or one of them loses in the Senatorial runoff in January to a Democrat, then the Senate will be controlled by the Democratic Party and that would be a disaster for Americans.  We don't need Chuck Schumer as Senate Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate.  Look how much more damage will be committed under a Biden administration with both Houses of Congress being controlled by Democrats.  We need to pray and focus on the Senate seats in Georgia on January 5th.

Trump has done some remarkable things throughout his four year presidency such as reviving the economy along with moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.  He's been a friend to Israel and has supported the right-to-life cause.  He has definitely been a pro-American president.  Consequently, with all the challenges he's been trying to muster to have the 2020 election results overturned, his chances of retaining office for the next four years are very nil.  There are those in high places who want Trump out of office and they're not willing to conduct an impartial investigation on all the voting irregularities during the 2020 presidential race.  With that being said, we're going to see President-elect Joe Biden take oath of office on January 20th.  That's my prediction.

Trump will have a very difficult time in trying to run for the presidency again in 2024.  The media and various forces will make it difficult if not impossible for Trump to have any kind of chance to win the 2024 presidential race.  There are too many cards stacked against Trump.  The media will do everything in their power to make sure the president is castigated.  I know that sounds depressing to many conservatives but Trump would have an uphill battle to win the presidency if he were to choose to run again in 2024.  He's been erratic with some of his behavior as president and his putting his foot in his mouth has gotten him in trouble more than you recognize.  That's just the way it is.  I guarantee you many people who didn't vote for Trump in 2020 was because of his personality and he always having to give the last word about everything.  That's just the way it is.

Nike Should be Ashamed

Image result for colin kaepernick and nike

Nike should be ashamed in using Colin Kaepernick in advertising their shoes.  Kaepernick is not an example for our country.  If he doesn't want to kneel for the national anthem, then he shouldn't be playing for the NFL.  It's been a tradition for the NFL to play the national anthem prior to the NFL games.  Kneeling while the national anthem is playing is very disrespectful.  Our soldiers have played a huge price for the liberty we enjoy in America.  Kaepernick needs to think about those who have fought and died for our country in years past.  Many black veterans have fought and died four our country.  There have been many blacks who have experienced overt discrimination in years past because of their race but they willingly and bravely fought for our country.  Using Kaepernick for their spokesman is foolish on the part of Nike.

Tax Reform Must Include the Wealthy

Rush Limbaugh Outlines His Problem With GOP's Tax Plan

Several weeks ago, radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was a guest on Fox News Hannity.  They were speaking on a number of topics such as the recent controversy in the NFL where certain players would take a knee during the presentation of the national anthem, for example.  Another issue that they both were discussing is the issue of tax reform.  Limbaugh was talking about the current GOP tax reform proposal.  He said there were certain things he liked about it, but there wasn't any tax cut provision for the wealthy, to speak of.

I know this will be a great point of controversy, esp. with those who buy into this class warfare nonsense that the Democratic party has been relentless about over the years.  The Democratic party all the time always make snide remarks when it comes to any tax cut plan saying it only benefits the wealthy few.  I have a little news for them: They should benefit from a tax cut as well.  Why should the wealthy be punished because they're very successful in the private sector and know how to make tons of money?  That's not right whatsoever.  Just because a person is a millionaire or billionaire doesn't mean that over half their income should be confiscated by the federal government.  That's wicked.  The problem with America's deficit is a result of gross overspending by Congress and the president which has been happening flamboyantly the last 30+ years.  The Democrats' plan is to raise hard-working Americans' taxes and continually spend like tomorrow will never arrive.

The rich are the economic engines of this country.  Many of them are job creators.  If you tax them to death, they'll invest their money into some overseas account.  They're not going to keep their money in this country if the federal government is going to confiscate it.  The top marginal tax rate is 39%, which is too high.  Both the Democrats and Republicans can speak all they want to of lowering the tax rate on the middle class, but if they keep the top marginal rate as is, then the economy won't improve like it could.  If the economy is to grow, then the government needs to stop punishing the wealthy.

I know there are a few uber-rich who are crooked.  Most of those people tend to be in bed with or have alliances with government.  They control both the media and our politicians.  However, punishing a whole class of rich people due to the actions of a few is ludicrous.  There are many first-generation rich people who are honest and frugal with their money.  They do a service to our economy when they are innovative and create jobs for the American people to operate their businesses.  You don't find business owners that are poor and broke unless they've run their business to the ground.  I will say in all my experience of being in the work force, I've never had a dirt-poor person to hire me.  I've been hired by people that were had money and were able to offer me a job so I can pay my bills.  A person who doesn't have two dimes to rub together can offer you employment.  It's just that simple.

It's time the Democrats stop playing the class warfare game.  Americans as a whole pay far too much in taxes.  My proposal is to eliminate the graduated income tax bracket and institute a flat tax for all Americans.  As far as I'm concerned, that's the most equitable way to collect taxes from the American people.

The GOP Needs to Pass Tax Reform--David N. Bossie

The GOP Needs to Pass Tax Reform--Or Face Primaries

David N. Bossie, who is President of Citizens United and a Fox News Contributor, wrote a piece on the Fox News Webpage that I believe is worth your time in reading.  His headline is that "The GOP Needs to Pass Tax Reform, or Face Primaries".  He's exactly on the money.  The American people who voted for Donald Trump in last year's election in November are sick and tired of the RINO's in Congress failing to deliver on the promises that the President made as well as themselves to the American people.  The GOP Congress also has failed big time in repealing Obamacare.  Sad to say I don't foresee that happening.  The way things are going right now, I'm not certain there will be any tax reform.  If they're not going to deliver on their promises, then they need to stop campaigning on reform if they're going to continue business-as-usual.  We've heard too many outright laws from the GOP Congress about repealing Obamacare, and reducing taxes.  Even though the Republicans don't possess a veto-proof majority, they do have enough to pass the big-ticket items if they were determined to do so.  Instead, they want to devote their time in undermining President Trump.  Instead of doing what's right for the agenda, they want to undermine the American people and the president and continue the agenda that was passed during the Obama administration.

2018 needs to be the banner year when it comes to primary challengers.  We need all kinds of candidates who will become GOP challengers to the Republican turncoats that are already in Congress.  We need to vote out the Republican incumbents in massive numbers next year.  The registered GOP voters need to send a message to these turncoats that they're tired of the lies they've been telling the American people these last seven years.  They aren't serving the American people.  They've totally turned their back on their constituents.  We need to drain the swamp and vote out every single Republican incumbent in the GOP primaries next year.  America won't have any true chance of turning things around with these turncoats still in Washington.  The GOP voters need to send a message to the turncoats that enough is enough.  We've had it with your lies.  You will be gone next year.  This must be done in the primary.  Every Republican that's up for re-election next year needs to be voted out and we need to start anew.  That's the only chance we have.

A Message to Donald Trump

Image result for donald trump        Donald Trump

The other day you had a special meeting with House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI).  Of course Ryan stated that you both had a very productive meeting.  However, I want to tell you that there are numerous people within the Republican party that want you to take America down a path which isn't best for America.  The last few presidents we've had have taken us down the wrong path (regardless of party).  This country wasn't created to be a socialist country.  The people who control this country are making it a socialist country, including President Barack Obama.  You have a responsibility to do what's best for the United States of America.  That is far more important than unifying the Republican party.  The Republican party has taken America down the wrong path just as the Democrats have.  Both parties are selling us down the river.  Should you be elected our nation's 45th president this fall, you need to take a stand and become the patriot that this nation needs.  There are three words that are emblematic of what America's all about and they are God, Country, and the Constitution.  This nation was built on Judeo Christian principles.  People that feared and loved God settled in the state of Massachusetts back in 1620 and 1630.  Both the Pilgrims and Puritans had a fear for God.  Over a century--and-a-half later our Founders decided to separate from England and become our own country which is called the United States.  They were patriots to the utmost.  They were willing to sacrifice their fortunes and everything they had for the sake of America. They were willing to give their lives for this country so future generations can enjoy the freedom that we enjoy today.

In the last century there have been numerous forces out to destroy the beloved country we've always known.  Forces of secularism have removed God and the Ten Commandments from our public school system.  They've been indoctrinating our children with philosophies that are alien to Christianity.  We're turning out a nation that has no fear of God.  The Bible states that righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.  We're seeing the repercussions of a society that has rejected God.  There is great violence in our cities today.  Drug and alcohol abuse are at an all-time high.  We've had numerous teen pregnancies over the last few decades.  Terrorism is breaking out in our country.  We've allowed people to come into this country without them being documented.  Our borders are open and our elected elite won't close our borders.  With the threat of Islamic terrorism in our world, the last thing we need is to keep our borders open.  You say you want to build a wall.  It's your responsibility for you to fulfill that and keep your word.  This issue of closing our borders is a national security issue and open borders are a great security risk to our country.

You're a very successful billionaire who knows how to run a business.  You can see that excessive government interference in our economy has done nothing but limit the free enterprise system when it comes to job creation.  We need for you to lift those barriers so businesses can run successfully and efficiently.  People today have trouble finding jobs that will provide for them a decent living because of the interference of the federal government in the private sector.  Another problem has been these trade deals our country has went into with Mexico, South America, and to China and some of those countries.  Our manufacturing sector has been gutted as a resulted of these trade deals with other countries.  Some say that free trade is great but when you compete with countries that don't abide by the same laws that our labor force has to abide by, then it makes it difficult for them to be competitive with other countries.  China doesn't pay health insurance or workmen's compensation to its employees.  It's much cheaper for them to produce a product than it is for the American worker to produce a product.  We need to remove all these unnecessary regulations that hinder business from functioning.  Our businesses are regulated to death and it's not good.

Another point that needs to be made revolves around our military.  The last two administrations (Bush and Obama) have sent us to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and have kept us there.  I know that it was the Bush administration that sent our soldiers both to Afghanistan and Iraq, but President Obama has continued the same policies with our military like Bush did.  The rules of engagement are ridiculous.  When we commit our troops to war, then we need to provide for them all the ammunition and firepower we have to win the war.  We're at war against Islamic terrorists.  Instead of being concerned about our troops blowing up mosques, we need to be concerned about destroying ISIS.  They're the enemies.  When we go into these countries, we are there to kill and break the will of the enemy.  It's not about playing paddy cake.  I know many liberals and progressives don't like that idea, but that's what war's about.  If we don't fight to win, then we have no business entering into war.  The reason why World War II ended when it did was because then president Truman dropped a bomb on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.  Many lives were killed yes.  But it humbled Japan into an unconditional surrender.  It took that type of overwhelming firepower at the time to defeat our enemy.  If it took that kind of firepower over 70 years ago, then we should utilize that today if necessary.  We don't need to be continuing these protracted wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  To tell you the truth, we don't need to be going to any war unless there's the commitment and will to win.  We're not to go to war to make money for the defense contractors.  Our troops don't deserve this.

We need to change our entire philosophy when it comes to foreign policy.  We don't need to be interfering in other countries' affairs unless it's a threat to our national security or the national security of the Western hemisphere.  We don't need to involve ourselves with the Middle East.  We don't need to import our oil from the Middle East nor meddle in their affairs if not necessary.  We need to make the Middle East as irrelevant as possible to our national interests.  I know due to the threat of ISIS we need to crush them because they're a threat to our country and to the world.  There are countries that our soldiers are occupying today that's not necessary for them to be there.  We don't need our troops in Germany, for example.  We don't have any problems with Germany.  We could use our troops for other important matters besides sticking them in countries which don't threaten our national interests.  Germany is not a threat to us.  We need to stay out of other countries' affairs unless it threatens our national interests.  You can call me an isolationist all you want but we can't intervene in every little conflict that comes our way.

Mr. Trump we need for you to stand a be a patriot.  We need for you to built a border wall to protect our country.  We need for you to stop the process of allow Syrian refugees to come to our country.  We don't need to bring more Muslims in this country.  Who knows how many of those refugees aren't Islamic terrorists.  I doubt our government does a sufficient job in vetting those who come from foreign countries to America.  With the outbursts of terrorism that's been seen in parts of our country, the last thing we need is to bring more Muslims to this country.

We also need for you to undo any executive orders that President Obama has written that are unconstitutional such as the amnesty issue or any directive by the President relating to the transgender issue in our public educational system.  Allow the Congress to do their job.  We also need for you to strongly encourage the repeal of Obamacare.  Not only is it a job killer but it allows the government to interfere in our health care system.  It's not the government's job to involve themselves in our health care.  We also need to repeal those numerous regulations that hinder the private sector.  They do nothing but  hurt the worker.  Also, we need for you to renegotiate those trade deals which have gutted our manufacturing industry.  Our country can't be very prosperous when we have a weak manufacturing base.  We need to be self-sufficient when it comes to providing for our own resources.  We also need to drill for oil in our own country and use it for our own consumption.  It's absolutely ridiculous for us to import oil for foreign countries when we have the land and resources to produce our own oil.

We need to go back to our nation's roots and become the nation once again that fears God.  We need to eliminate these bureaucracies that are causing harm to our country.  Government is bloated today.  We need to eliminate all these bureaucracies within it.  We need to stop the overspending.  Any time a bill comes before your desk that has unconstitutional spending you need to veto it.  We're broke and this 18+ trillion dollars isn't going to last.  I believe we're in for some dark days ahead and this is no time for games as usual.  We need you to stand up and tell Congress that you're going to do what's right for this country and we're not going to allow monied interests to rule this country.  They have no right to run this country.  Only Congress and the President have the right to run this country.  All of these outside lobbyists and foreign interests have no right to set the policies for the U.S.  You have a very tough job ahead of you should you be elected president this Fall.  We're don't need the "business as usual" we've been seeing in our government for the last few decades.  Either changes are made now or America is finished.  You must decide which course you're going to take with this nation.  I hope you make the right choice.

What to do in a Postchristian America: Keep Calm and Carry On

What to do in a Postchristian America

Eric Metaxas wrote an interesting article on what to do in a post-Christian America.  I want to say first of all as important as it is for Christians to be politically involved in America when it comes to this year's presidential election, for example, the political system in America isn't going to save our country.  I believe in voting for the right candidates when it comes to the election.  I thank God for the huge turnout we had in the Republican caucus from where I was located in Kentucky.  But voting out incumbents and putting in "Christian" candidates in power isn't going to save this country.  To tell you the truth, most "Christian" politicians have been very disappointing.  Our hope isn't in our government.  America's hope is in God Almighty and unless we turn to Him to heal our land, our nation doesn't have a prayer.  God's people need to get right with God and we need to see a great awakening in our country spiritually.  Our priorities are wrong when it comes to spiritual things.  God says in Matthew 6:33 that if we seek ye first the kingdom of God all these things shall be added unto you.  We need God to move in our country and He needs to be acknowledged and recognized once again as Lord.  Jesus is the only answer to the social ills of our nation.  We need to rely on God.  He's our only hope.  If we go back on track spiritually speaking, then other things will fall into place in our lives.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I hope you had a very enjoyable Christmas season and a Happy New Year!  2016 has dawned upon us.  This is a time when many people make new years resolutions.  I believe it's proper to make new goals each time a new year begins.  I'm thankful to the Lord for his goodness upon us.  We have so much to be thankful for.  I know there's much heartache and sadness in this world  I recognize what the Bible says that in the last days that perilous times will come.  We're definitely seeing that happen.  The year 2015 saw an array of terrorist attacks around the world.   We've seen then in France, London, the United States in San Bernardino, California, and the list continues.  And our president and Congress just sit there and won't do the right thing when it comes to countering terrorism in the U.S.  There's a right way to do it and that is to close our borders and not allow people of Arab descent come into our country.  I know that sounds mean to some people but we're in a war with Islamic terrorism and we can't afford to allow potential terrorists in this country.  That's the way it is.

I pray that 2016 will be a prosperous new year for all Americans and that America will experience a spiritual great awakening this year (Psalms 85:6)!

Let's Get Government Out of the Charity Business--Star Parker

Let's Get Government Out of the Charity Business

money

Columnist Star Parker made a compelling argument about the danger when the government steps into the role of "charity" supposedly.  The truth of the matter is that "charity" is a misnomer when it comes to the government.  The government isn't about charity.  It's all about them having control over the lives of the American people.  In other words, charity is another word for slavery.  Parker gave an example using Davy Crockett, an American frontiersman and Congressmen from Tennessee (1827-35) who had appropriated $20,000 for relief for victims of a fire that broke out in Georgetown.  When returning home, a constituent farmer chastised him for "giving what is not yours to give."  The farmer wisely told Crockett the Constitution doesn't grant Congress the authority to grant charity and attempting to do so can open the door for fraud, corruption, and favoritism on the one hand and robbing the American people on the other hand.  How true that is today.

Congress never "gives" the American people anything unless they take something away from you.  On top of that they're doing it to repay their donors back and are attempting to grab votes by doing so.  However, charity is the farthest thing from their minds.  If these politicians desire to be charitable, why don't they donate a portion of their wealth to help the needy instead of using government funds which comprises taxpayer dollars to help the needy?  It's no skin off their teeth to use taxpayer dollars to help the needy.  They're not interested in helping the poor and needy.  All these elected elites' minds are on is buying votes, rewarding their donors, and profiting from it.  And in return, they'll enslave those who they are supposedly trying to help.  It's preposterous.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone!  I trust and pray that 2014 will be the most prosperous and productive year ever in the history of your life.  I want to say from the outset that my post to open the new year isn't going to be entitled, "American Desperately Needs a Second Revolution" like I wrote on the first of January in 2012.  I'm not going to waste my time in speaking about the need for a second American revolution when you consider the spiritual shape America's in.  It will be to no avail to speak of a second American revolution unless there's a spiritual awakening among God's people.  That's the first and foremost priority (Psalms 85:6).  For years Christian organizations such as the Moral Majority and the Christian Coalition have concentrated on endorsing "Christian" candidates to elected office both statewide and nationwide.  How has American profited from all the billions of dollars spent from both organizations, to name a couple, from all the effort produced from these two organizations?  Nothing.  America is more wicked than ever.  Congress is more corrupt than ever.  America is on the brink to being a total socialist country (with the inclusion of Obamacare, for example).  We have homosexual marriage taking place in several states which probably will be one day legislated as the law of the land.  We have activist judges that unconstitutionally declare laws prohibiting gay marriage as unconstitutional (such as the case in Utah).  Our so-called conservative Representatives and Senators are worthless when it comes to standing against the takeover of our country by socialist forces.

First of all there aren't many "Christian" candidates that do get elected and those who do get elected  just blend in with the government's corrupt system.  They don't make "waves" to try to turn Congress in the direction it should go.  It's the same old story regardless who gets elected.  I've heard conservative radio talk show hosts such as Jim Sumpter speak about the cowards we have amongst many of our so-called conservative Republicans.  I believe there's a reason for that:  Our government is controlled by powerful forces of darkness whom I label the forces of Nimrod.  Who are they?  They are those forces that are trying to take America down the road to destruction to form a new world order, which has been a dream of mankind all the way back to the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11.  I wholeheartedly believe there's a reason why our conservative or "Tea Party" lawmakers won't defund Obamacare in the House.  I believe if one of our Representatives were to try to do that they would suffer severe and far-reaching consequences.  That's why there's no blue-slipping done to defund Obamacare.  You may not believe what I just said but I do.  I believe they've been bribed and threatened to not touch Obamacare.  I believe our globalists want Obamacare in place because it will take American down and bring us closer to the new world order.

As I've said earlier, my thought to open the new year isn't about reforming America to bring it back to it's constitutional roots.  As much as I would like for that to happen, it won't happen considering the spiritual condition of America.  The only way that could happen is for God's people to repent and a spiritual awakening to take place across America to take back the government.  How likely that is I don't know.  But we need to focus on living for God more than just reforming America.

We live in a brain-dead society that seems to be appallingly ignorant when it comes to understanding issues and concepts of our day.  I believe much of that is due to the fact that we're an entertainment-crazed generation that spends most of it's time being entertained by Hollywood, video games and things that amuse us.  I was reading the online definition of amuse and it means to occupy in an agreeable, pleasing, or entertaining fashion.  It also can imply at the least specific something that directs attention away from serious matters.  That's what's happening to America today.  We live in a country where young people in school plus many Americans in general would rather watch "Duck Dynasty" or "American Idol" than read and pay attention what's going on in our government as well as current events in American society.  We live in a generation that would rather be "amused" than to "muse".

What does the term "muse" imply?  It means to be absorbed in one's thoughts, to engage in meditation.  It also means to consider or say thoughtfully; to be absorbed in meditation.  Much of what goes on in the form of entertainment has caused (in my opinion) many Americans (including young people) to be brain dead.  I believe too much amusement will retard a person's thinking.  When I use the word "retard" I'm not speaking of a physically handicapped person.  When I use the term I mean a slowing down or a hindering of progress; delay.  When a person surrounds himself with entertainment and is constantly amused, he/she doesn't have to think.  When a person is constantly amused, he/she doesn't have to think and therefore can become brain dead.  I'm not implying "brain dead" in a medical sense.  I mean that person can't grasp or understand the concept behind many of today's issues in society.  We wonder why many America's children perform so poorly in school in such areas as science and math, for example.  It's because they're fed a steady diet of Hollywood and other types of entertainment that amuse us.  That's why there's not much serious critical thinking taking place in America.  That's why there are a segment of voters that will go along with whatever the government tells them.  For example, there are a segment of voters that believe Obamacare is about affordable health care.  If you read history and read about other countries such as Canada and Sweden that utilize government-controlled health care you will realize government-sponsored health care is a failure.  Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act isn't about affordable health care.  It's about seizing control of the healthcare industry so the government can eliminate personal choices concerning what kind of healthcare coverage to purchase.  They're all about controlling every aspect of our lives ranging from our diets to what type of doctors we choose for our medical care.  That will happen with Obamacare in full force.  Just wait and see.

Other issues that a segment of Americans are brain dead over are taxing the rich and the minimum wage law to name a couple.  There are a segment of American citizens (some of those who don't pay any taxes to the federal government) think that the rich should pay more in taxes.  They think that will help pay down the deficit and grow the economy.  Higher taxes don't grow the economy.  What grows the economy are businessmen who are willing to take a risk with their capital to start a business and hire workers.  That's what grows the economy.  Higher taxes on businessmen and businesses discourages job growth.  The more taxes a business pays, the less money there is to create more jobs and invest more in their current employees.  Higher taxes don't grow the economy.  The problem isn't lack of revenue.  The problem is government overspending.  That's why our national debt tops $17 trillion.  The government needs to stop growing and they need to automatically eliminate wasteful, unconstitutional spending.

The last issue I want to mention is the federal minimum wage law.  President Obama and the Democrats are promoting a minimum wage increase up to $10.00 an hour.  When most people hear that President Obama and the Democrats desire to increase the federal minimum wage, they think that's a great thing.  The truth of the matter is, the minimum wage is for those who work entry-level jobs such as McDonalds and other fast-food outlets.  That sounds good but it won't be good when prices rise on goods and services to pay for that minimum wage increase.  If prices rise as a result, what's the point in raising the minimum wage?  I thought the purpose of raising the minimum wage is to help those who are starting out on entry-level jobs.  How does raising the minimum wage help anybody if they're going to have to pay higher prices on goods and services?  There might as well be no raising the minimum wage.  What should be the purpose of raising the federal minimum wage?  It should be to help increase the purchasing power of those on the bottom rung of wage earners.  Raising prices hurts those it's supposed to help.  Not only does it hurt those on the bottom rung of wage earners but it also affects the purchasing power of  those in the middle that can least afford it.  If we're going to raise the minimum wage, why not raise everybody else's wages who work a public job?  The last thing we need to do is to artificially raise prices by government decree, which has been happening rapidly since the year 2000.

I would like to challenge all Americans to devote more time to reading and studying things that are of a serious nature in life instead of spending so much time being entertained.  We need to learn to practice the art of musing.  We need to take time to read the Holy Bible, God's word in the 1611 King James Bible, we need to read books of history, science, politics, and things that would help us to stay informed concerning the issues of life and eternity.  We need to spend our time musing.  If we would spend more time reading to muse and learn, our critical thinking skills would rise rapidly.  We wouldn't be falling for the things we're falling for if we would take the time to think.  That's what we need in this hour.  We need informed, educated Americans who know how to solve problems, geography, basic facts in history and government, and most of all know the Word of God.  What difference it would make in our lives if we were literate in everything across the academic board.  We wouldn't have people falling for things that are of outright stupidity.   If we would stop allowing ourselves to be amused, it would sharpen our thinking skills and it would change our lives.  We need an informed America at this hour in which we're living.  Let's devote our time to reading, writing, and thinking.  Let's learn how to muse on the important things in life.  Have a prosperous, productive new year!
