Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has doubled down on his long shot bid to defund Obamacare, even though Senate Democrats are highly unlikely to approve a short-term spending bill this September that impugns President Obama's signature domestic achievement, according to the Washington Times.
The House of Representatives is the body that's responsible for approving spending bills. The House is the body responsible for defunding Obamacare. I don't see any Republican in the House that has the political will to defund it. House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor surely aren't going to influence the defunding of it. I don't see any of the so-called conservatives in the House such as Michelle Bachman take the bull by the horns to get it accomplished. It's all talk. When it's all said and done, Obamacare will still be funded by the federal government. The federal government isn't going to stop the defunding of Obamacare.
