Ford Motor Co. Fuels Profits With Innovation, not Government Bailouts
It's great for once to read about Ford making profits which have nothing to do with government bailouts whatsoever. I remember back in December 2008 when the Big Three's auto executives came to Washington, D.C. asking for a government bailout of the auto industry back when the Big Three were in trouble. Both GM and Chrysler eventually took government bailouts in 2009, but Ford's CEO, Alan Mulally, refused to do so. Today, the only major auto manufacturer that's prospering is Ford.
