Pat Buchanan wrote another interesting articles for CNS News concerning the issue of Big Brother. Over the past weekend, the news has revolved around the U.S. government surveillance program and Big Brother spying on us. Anybody that's paid attention to the news since 9/11 shouldn't be surprised the government to hear about the government spying on us. The person who set this surveillance program into motion was George W. Bush in 2001 when he signed the Patriot Act a month following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The Patriot Act has enabled the government to further encroach upon our freedoms. Of course, President Obama will take things further than what his predecessor did. I can recall either in 2006 or 2007 when they're were speaking of illegal wiretapping in the news during the Bush administration as a mean to track down terrorists. I can remember how members of the media were seemingly disturbed over that. This is nothing to be surprised at.
