Ann Romney: Public feels ‘breach of trust’ amid White House controversies - The Hill's Video
Ann Romney, wife of 2012 GOP candidate Mitt Romney, stated that there is a "breach of trust" between the American people and the government, citing the three controversies that have placed the White House on the offensive such as the Benghazi hearings, and the IRS targeting conservative groups such as the Tea Party, to name a couple. This isn't any surprise to me. There has been a "breach of trust" between the government and the American people for years, and our elected elite doesn't care. Our elected elite think they are above the average American person and they can misspend taxpayers dollars and use them for their own pleasure, such as extravagant vacations, for example. The agenda of the government isn't the agenda of the American people. We are moving closer to a fascist government. Once the key provisions of Obamacare come in place in 2014, our government will be placing even tighter controls over the American people. Obamacare will enable our politicians to take over 1/6th of the nations' economy and they will be able to dictate the kind of lifestyle we can live. They don't care. Our elected representatives aren't accountable to the American people. They answer to the globalists who are out to create a one world government, which will happen eventually.
As far as disappointment is concerned, I thought it was disappointing the kind of campaign Ann's husband ran last year. He didn't run much of a campaign. He didn't want to call Obama a Socialist. He wasn't aggressive in going after Obama concerning how he ran the country during his four years as president. Romney also didn't very well articulate the kind of vision he supposedly had for America. Romney didn't run to win, which I felt was disgraceful. Politics has become very corrupt and wicked and it isn't about God, country, and the Constitution, which our nation was built upon.
