The White said Monday that the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon won't be treated as an enemy combatant, which drew rebuke from GOP lawmakers who desired the administration to consider the option for the sake of intelligence gathering. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney stated that he will prosecute this terrorist through the civilian system of justice.
What needs to be done is to check which terrorist group he has ties with. If he has any connection to Islamic terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, then he needs to be treated an an enemy combatant. Islamic terrorists should be handled through a military commission. We're at war with Islamic terrorism and if he's involved with Al-Qaeda or any Islamic terrorist group, then he doesn't need to go through America's civilian court system.
