Biden Scheduled to Give Speech to Joint Session of Congress
President Joe Biden will give his first speech to a joint session Congress Wednesday evening, April 28, 2021 as he draws closer to his 100th day in office as president on Friday. During his address, he will be highlighting the "accomplishments" of his administration which I'm sure much of it will center around the covid pandemic. He will probably give the American people details on the second part of his infrastructure program.
Biden will more than likely touting the achievements made in regards to the pandemic. He has his first victory when after two months in office he signed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan into law, sending up to $1400 direct payments to many Americans. Biden also wants to speak of his plans regarding the 2.7 trillion dollar infrastructure plan which much of it won't be centered around our nation's infrastructure. He will also likely to address setbacks with the crisis at the Souther border, which resulted from overturning Trump's executive orders concerning immigration. He will also probably address the issue of the uptick of massive shootings occurring in our nation and his plan to remedy it. Click on the above link to read the full story.
