U.S. Has Lost 191,000 Mining Jobs Since September 2014

The United States has lost approximately 191,000 mining jobs since September 2014.  It also includes the 7000 jobs that were lost this past April, according to data published from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  The coal mining industry alone has since lost over 10,000 jobs since last April.  In April there were only 661,600 mining jobs in the United States.  That is a decline of 190,900 jobs in 19 months.

I can speculate what the problem is.  I would say it's the Obama administration's war on coal.  They do it for the purpose of the sake of the environment, for cleaner air.  Click on the above link to read the details.
