Alabama beats Notre Dame 42-14 in BCS bowl
Alabama beats Notre Dame, 42-14 for the BCS title. This is the second straight year that Alabama has won the BCS championship. This is the first year that Notre Dame was in the championship game since 1989 when Notre Dame won the title that year capping off a perfect season. Nick Saban, the head coach of Albama, has own his fifth national title. He won his first at LSU in 2003 and he has won three titles since he became head coach at Alabama.
