Paul Krugman Answers Paul Ryan on Debt Crisis: We Can Print Money | CNS News
Liberal economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman
Paul Krugman on C-SPAN responded to House Budget Commitee Chairman Paul Ryan's warning that if the federal government continues running annual trillion dollar deficits that we will eventually face a debt crisis. Krugman stated that wouldn't be so because the U.S. government can print more money and weaken the purchasing power of the dollar. Krugman claims that "weakening the dollar would be a good thing." He stated that the U.S. can't run out of money because we print our own cash. He said it wouldn't cause interest rates to soar. He said it would help our exports.
With a weakened dollar, it's worthless and it's only backed by the American people. The thing that concerns me is countries like China. If they decide to default on purchasing our bad debt, it would have major repurcussions for the U.S. I don't believe it would be good for the world market.
It was just over a month ago that our Democratic politicians were saying that we need to increase taxes on the wealthiest 2% in our nation to generate more revenue. If the Federal Reserve prints money on a continual basis, then why the need for tax increases in order to "generate more revenue?" The demand to increase the tax rates on the American people has nothing to generating revenue. It's all about control.

White House Points Finger at Republicans After Report Showing Economy Shrank
White House points finger at Republicans after report showing economy shrank | Fox News
President Obama's top spokesman blamed Republicans for an unexpectedly dismal GDP report that showed the economy contracted in the fourth quarter. The White House had suggested GOP willingness to allow sweeping defense cuts take effect was the culprit.
The problem is there's much uncertainty among businesses due to upcoming projected tax hikes. Taxes have already increased in certain areas such as the Social Security tax and there are new tax hikes to fund Obamacare. Many small businesses aren't comfortable with hiring new workers because of Obamacare and the new regulations that the government has imposed upon the private sector.

RFK Thought Warren Commission Was 'Shoddy Work'
RFK Thought Warren Commission Was 'Shoddy Work'
John F. Kennedy (1917-63)
Newsmax has reported that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) is convinced that a lone gunman wasn't solely responsible for the assassination of his uncle, John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. RFK Jr. said he believed the Warren Commission, which was appointed to study the reasoning behind the assassination of JFK, was a "shoddy piece of craftsmanship."
RFK's uncle was killed while riding a motorcade through Dallas on Friday November 22, 1963. I agree that Lee Harvey Oswald himself didn't plan this assassination. I believe Oswald was used to carry out somebody's orders to assassinate Kennedy. I believe Kennedy crossed the line with the powers-that-be and as a result, they decided to remove Kennedy from the White House. Why the forces of Nimrod wanted to see Kennedy assassinated I can't answer for sure but we could probably devote pages of theories as to why JFK was assassinated. I do wholeheartedly believe there was an organized effort from higher powers that we don't know about that was responsible for the death of JFK. I won't devote the time in this post to speculate on the probable causes of JFK's assassination.

Inaugural Pastor Withdraws over Anti-gay Remarks
Inaugural Pastor Withdraws over Anti-gay Remarks
The Rev. Louie Giglio, an Atlanta minister and founder of the Passion Conferences, has declined to give the inauguration due to comments he made against sodomites he made more than a decade ago.
The Rev. Louie Giglio, an Atlanta minister and founder of the Passion Conferences, has declined speaking at the Obama inauguration due to remarks he made against sodomites more than a decade ago. President Obama had chosen him to deliver the ceremony but Giglio felt it was best he withdrew because remaining on the program wouldn't best serve his core message, according to NBC News.
"Due to a message of mine that has surfaced from 15-20 years ago, it is likely that my participation--and the prayer that I would offer--will be dwarfed by those seeking to make their agenda the focal point of the inauguration," Giglio said in a statement published by NBC. "Clearly, speaking on this issue hasn't been in the range of my priorities the past 15 years."
It would be a very awkward situation speaking at an inauguration where the president has clearly made known last summer that he supports homosexuals' right to marry. The Word of God strongly condemns the homosexual lifestyle. There's definitely no passage in the Bible that would even hint that "gay" marriage is acceptable. The Bible says that sodomy is an abomination and that it's unnatural.
We need a preacher that would have the audacity to speak out against sin and preach against the direction that President Obama and Congress are taking our country. The truth is no preacher that stands against sin would be welcome to preach at Obama's inauguration ceremony. What a tragic day we live in. The morals of our nation and of Washington have sunk to such a low level today. We no longer resemble the nation that was founded by our forefathers over 300+ years ago.

President Obama Nominates Jacob Lew as Treasury Secretary
President Obama Nominates Jacob Lew as Treasury Secretary | The White House
White House Chief of Staff Jacob Lew is President Obama's pick to be the next Treasury Secretary.
Yesterday President Obama nominated current White House Chief of Staff Jacob Lew to be the next Treasury Secretary of the United States. Prior to being the current White House Chief of Staff, Lew was director of the Office of Management and Budget under former president Bill Clinton. Lew supposedly negotiated a deal then to "balance the federal budget", which supposedly led to a "budget surplus." Prior to becoming the Chief of Staff in the Obama administration, Lew had helped manage the day-to-day operations at the State Department and shepherd through the Budget Control Act to supposedly reduce federal spending in a second stint at OMB.

Obama Set to Nominate Hagel as Defense Secretary
President Obama is set to nominate former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel as the next Secretary of Defense. Hagel, a Republican, was a U.S. Senator from 1997-2009. Obama's choice is likely to set off a tempestuous confirmation battle in the Senate because Hagel broke ranks with fellow Senate Republicans over the Iraq War a few years back and angered Democratic interest groups during his time in the Senate.
