I have a question for you Gov. Christie: What kind of game are you playing? You've been saying throughout the year at least 800 times that there's no way whatsoever that you'll run for president. For the last 2-3 weeks you've been going back and forth saying that you're reconsidering your position on running for president, then you say you won't run. Last Saturday you made the statement once again that you're reconsidering retracting the statement you made last week that you aren't running for president. Tuesday you just announced that you aren't running for president because there's plenty of work that needs to be accomplished in the Garden State. How long will that last? Will a Republican operative persuade you once again that you need to run for president in 2012? How long will this latest announcement yesterday that you won't run for president last? It's a joke. You've said your work in New Jersey isn't done and that now isn't the right time to run for president. Just wait, you'll have a "change of heart" and give the impression that you're mulling a run for president once again. I wouldn't be surprised if you decide to "reconsider" a run for the presidency in 2012 before it's over with again.
Joseph Farah, founder of World Net Daily, posted an article on World Net Daily on Thursday September 30, 2011 posing the question what are Gov. Chris Christie's accomplishments? I think it's a great question. There are all kinds of conservative pundits such as Sean Hannity who believe that Christie would make a great president someday. They're saying Christie would make a great president because of his tough anti-union rhetoric. However, he hasn't eliminated one state employee according to Farah. Farah lists some of his progressive ideas such as his support for cap and trade, amnesty for illegal aliens, the Ground Zero mosque, and strict gun control. Why do many "conservatives" favor a Christie candidacy in the GOP? His policies aren't compatible with the national Republican Party platform. He's not a conservative. Many of the Progressives in his cabinet would be comfortable in an Obama cabinet. Republicans shouldn't be giving Christie the time of day. It disturbs me media pundits such as Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter think a Christie candidacy would be a great thing for the GOP. What does he stand for? What legislative achievements have been accomplished as a result of him that's turning New Jersey around? I've heard the old adage that everything that glitters isn't gold. I believe we can say the same thing about Gov. Christie.
