Friday, October 7, 2011, marked the 15th anniversary of the Fox News Channel. Fox News was first launched on October 7, 1996, just a month prior to the 1996 presidential election pitting President Bill Clinton vs. Republican candidate Bob Dole. Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul who owns Newscorp and the Wall Street Journal, own Fox. Roger Ailes is the Chairman and CEO of the Fox News Channel.
