Keystone Bill Fails to Clear Senate Hurdle; Debate Drags On

Keystone Bill Fails to Clear Senate Hurdle

Senate Republicans failed to rally enough votes Monday to advance a bill approving the Keystone Pipeline XL Monday, putting a crimp in their plans to move toward a final vote.  Senate Democrats successfully filibustered to keep open the amendment process.  The preliminary vote to shut down amendment submissions, was 53-39.  It takes 60 votes to move the process towards a final vote.  The 1,179 miles of pipeline, proposed in 2008, would allow for 800,000 barrels of tar sands oil from Canada into the United States, connecting to existing pipelines leading to Gulf Coast refineries.

I'm afraid when the final vote is cast, Republicans will fall short in making this bill successful which will lead to the creation of thousands of new jobs as well as diminish the need to import oil from the Middle East to America.  The forces of Nimrod want the U.S. to be dependent on the Middle East from oil.  There's too many politicians and other influential business people who have strong ties to the Middle East.

Despite War Against Al Qaeda in Yemen, Obama Seeks to Release 47 Yemenis From Gitmo

Despite War in Al-Qaeda, Obama Seeks to Release 47 Yemenis

Gitmo, Guantanamo

This whole war against "Al-Qaeda" doesn't make sense.  First of all, this war goes further than Al-Qaeda.  It's not just about Al-Qaeda--it's a war against Islamic terrorism.  Islamic terrorism is a religious war against the infidels, according to the religion of Islam.  Israel is the little satan and America is the great satan.  There are other terrorist networks than Al-Qaeda.  Secondly, since Al-Qaeda training camps are in Yemen, it doesn't make sense the Obama administration desires to release 47 Yemenis.  It just gives them the license to inflict more jihads in the United States.  President Obama doesn't want to use the phrase "Islamic terrorism" due to the relationships that Obama has with the Middle East.  We have no business courting with the Middle East.  We need to marginalize our relations with the Middle East.  We need to be independent from the Middle East, which means we need to produce our own oil for our own country instead of importing any oil from the Middle East.  The Middle East needs to become irrelevant when it comes to the U.S.'s interests.

SF Archbishop on Pelosi: No Catholic Can Dissent From Church Teaching on Abortion

SF Archbishop on Pelosi

cordileoneArchbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco responded to the comments that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi made concerning whether or not a 20 week-old "fetus" is a human being.  Pelosi wouldn't answer whether or not a 20-week old baby is a human being.  The Archbishop stated that life begins at conception and no Catholic can dissent in good conscience on the church teaching regarding abortion.   I agree with that but abortion is a life issue.  It's a biblical issue in which God says that the unborn is a human being.  It's much more than a Catholic church issue.  What's important is what God's word says.  That's what counts.  It's a human life issue.  No doctor has a right to snuff out an unborn child from the mother's womb.  In response to what House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says, it goes to show how corrupting an influence politics is regardless of what kind of church they attend.  When you're in the realm of politics, Biblical truth and common sense stays outside the door.  It's all about being politically correct in the political arena.

Repeal Every Word: Potential 2016 GOP Rivals Hammer Obamacare, IRS at Summit

Repeal Every Word

Texas Senator Ted Cruz

During the Iowa Freedom Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, several potential 2016 candidates were hammering President from everything to Obamacare to his executive amnesty for illegals.  One of the phrases used during this summit, "repeal every word."  I wish they would do that in Congress.  We don't need stump speeches declaring "repeal every word" as much as we need backbone from the House of Representatives to blue slip Obamacare.  We need action more than stump speeches!  Click on FoxNews.com to read the story.

Romney Praise Gruber For Spending "Hours and Hours" on Romneycare

Romney Praises Gruber

Then Governor Mitt Romney in 2006

Do  you ever wonder how a very successful businessman and venture capitalist could ever pass and promote socialized healthcare such as Romneycare in his own state as a governor?  This shows how politics can corrupt a man.  What difference should it make to Romney?  He has his millions anyway.  He's not going to lose his savings.  So why should it bother him to pass a socialized healthcare system on the people in his own state?  It's tragic.  This is one reason why I don't desire for Romney to be a 2016 candidate for president.  He's no better than any of the liberal Democratic politicians.  Click on CNSNews.com to read the full story.
