Pelosi Explains Her Support for the $1.2 Trillion Budget Bill

Pelosi Explains Her Support for the $1.2 Trillion Budget Bill

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi with House Speaker Paul Ryan

Even though the Speaker of the House has changed faces, he's no better than the former House Speaker.  Ryan goes along passing a bill that more Democrats voted force than Republicans.  The bill will continually increase the deficit.  Thank God for the GOP.  I'm being sarcastic.  All we having in D.C. is one party rule.  We have no true opposition party.  The GOP just gives their talking points.  They aren't going to do anything to stop the ridiculous spending nor defund Obamacare.  The fact that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi supports that foolish spending bill shows the GOP are no better than the Democrats in the House and Senate.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Bipartisan Achievements:Bigger Government Worlse Schools

Bipartisan Achievement:Bigger Government Worse Schools

With a GOP Congress with Paul Ryan at the helm as Speaker of the House, the GOP controlled House and Senate sent an education bill where President Obama signed it which would give the federal government more power over not only America's educational system, but our nation's preschool system as well, in the name of a bipartisan Congees supposedly headed by the Republican Party.  The new bill is entitled, "Every Student Succeeds Act" which replaces the "No Child Left Behind Act", which was sponsored by then Congressman John Boehner, later future House Speaker and then the late Senator Ted Kennedy.  It was passed in 2002.  This bill gives the Department of Education increased federal control over America's public school system.  It's a travesty what our so-called conservative GOP have allowed in that bill.  Click on the above link to read the article.

"Tis the Season

The Bells of Christmas--Julie Andrews

The Bells of Christmas--Julie Andrews

The Christmas season is here once again.  I enjoy the Christmas season and the opportunity we have to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ.  The reason why the Christmas season is so joyous is because of the fact Jesus came into this world to die for the sins od the world.  If the only thing we have to celebrate is the birth of Jesus, then there wouldn't be any hope for mankind.  Jesus did more than just be born into this world.  He was born into this world so one day he could die on Calvary's cross on Golgotha's Hill.  That's what makes Christmas worth celebrating.  When we celebrate Christmas we're looking forward to the time when Jesus one day would die for the sins of mankind.  He was the prophesied Messiah in Isaiah 9:6 in which one day he would come to this world.  Thank God for the birth of Jesus into this world.  Nobody knows the date when Jesus was born, but we know he was born and thank God for it.

We have a week until Christmas and we'll be writing Christmas posts concerning the Christmas season.  We'll write a doctrinal post on the birth of Christmas and we'll be featuring Christmas music, posts about Christmas traditions, etc., just like the past few years.

Poll:Shows Most Say Obamacare, and Gay Marriage Issues Settled

Poll Shows Most Say Obamacare and Gay Marriage Issues Settled

According to a USA Today/Suffolk University Poll, Most Americans say that n the wake of last month's U.S. Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and gay Marriage, it's time for opponents to end their efforts to repeal Obamacare and to block same sex marriages.   That's a very disturbing poll.  Gay marriage is a perversion of marriage that the Bible speaks of which is a marriage only between a man and a woman.  There's no other way around it.  We live in sad times in this country.  Click on USA Today to read the story.

The U.S. Supreme Court Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

Supreme Court Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

Image result for supreme court legalizes same sex marriage

The sad truth of the matter is that I knew this was coming.  Ever since U.S. vs. Windsor, where Justice Anthony Kennedy struck down provisions of the Defense of Marriage Act saying that same sex couples couldn't be denied benefits, the Federal Appeals Courts have used Kennedy's opinion to invalidate state bans on same sex marriage in states across the U.S. I personally believe that's what led to today's ruling.  What a travesty!  I believe there will be major ramifications that will result from this ruling.  I believe in time to come that preachers in the United States will be forbidden to preach against sodomy or they will face some stiff penalties.  No! Not in America!  Yes!  Even though it's not constitutional for the state to interference in church matters, that doesn't deter them.  For decades our elected elite in all three branches of our government have shredded the government what makes you think they'll do different in this case.  They won't.  Just wait and see!

Rick Perry Launches 2016 Presidential Campaign

Former Texas Governor and 2012 presidential candidate Rick Perry has announced he's running for president in 2016.  He might as well ride on the Republican bandwagon and join the crowd.  I'm sure he'll enjoy the opportunity to be in the spotlight, give many talking points speeches on Fox News and talk radio, and make money while running for president.  Won't this be interesting!
