With a GOP Congress with Paul Ryan at the helm as Speaker of the House, the GOP controlled House and Senate sent an education bill where President Obama signed it which would give the federal government more power over not only America's educational system, but our nation's preschool system as well, in the name of a bipartisan Congees supposedly headed by the Republican Party. The new bill is entitled, "Every Student Succeeds Act" which replaces the "No Child Left Behind Act", which was sponsored by then Congressman John Boehner, later future House Speaker and then the late Senator Ted Kennedy. It was passed in 2002. This bill gives the Department of Education increased federal control over America's public school system. It's a travesty what our so-called conservative GOP have allowed in that bill. Click on the above link to read the article.
