Boehner and Obama Joined to Pass Bill Funding Obamacare and Amnesty

Boehner and Obama Join to Pass Bill Funding Obamacare and Amnesty

Obama-boehner

The unholy alliance between House Speaker John Boehner, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and President Obama is appalling.  Both Obama and Boehner pushed their party members to pass an omnibus government spending bill funding amnesty and Obamacare with 219 votes from the House.  This is coming from the House supposedly controlled by the GOP.  But you can't tell it.  There's no difference between Boehner, Reid, Obama and Pelosi.  The GOP leadership is with Obama in the House in passing a bill funding Obamacare and amnesty for illegals.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Landriew Loses Re-election Bid to Republican Challenger Cassidy

Losing incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu

Bill Cassidy, the new U.S. Senator from Louisiana

In a post-election runoff in Louisiana, Democratic incumbent Mary Landrieu loses re-election to Republican challenger Bill Cassidy.  Saturday's election was a runoff due to the face that Cassidy didn't win enough votes to win it outright in November.  Landrieu was seeking a fourth term this year but lost in the end.  Cassidy's win means that the GOP will have a total of 54 seats in the Senate when Congress convenes in January.  Click on the link below to read the full story.

Obama: All Peoples Worldwide Embrace the Meaning of Jesus

Obama: All Peoples Embrace the Meaning of Jesus

Barack Obama at Christmas Tree lighting ceremony

In a speech at a National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday night, President Obama didn't mention Jesus by name but stated that the meaning of Jesus' story is embraced all around the world regardless of how they pray or if they pray at all.  He mentioned that the story dates back more than 2000 years ago.

In order to enjoy what the real meaning of Christmas is, you have to know the Saviour, who is Jesus Christ the Lord.  You have to be born again and be forgiven of your sins in order to know what the true meaning of Christmas is all about.  Many in the world may embrace Jesus who is a "historical figure" in their eyes.  But He's more than that.  He is Lord and Saviour of mankind.  He makes a change in the hearts of men when He saves them.  But there's more than just the fact that Jesus was born:  He died upon the cross so that mankind could receive the free pardon of sin.  Jesus' birth wouldn't have any significant meaning to it if it all just ended with his birth.  But it didn't.  He died upon Calvary's cross and rose again on the third day.  He is alive forevermore.  That makes Christmas worth celebrating.  To read the full story, click on the above link from CNSNews.com.

Jonathon Gruber is the Architect of Obamacare

Jonathon Gruber is the Architect of Obamacare

Back in November we found out that the architect of the writing of Obamacare was none other than Jonathon Gruber, who is the professor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He was also the architect of "Romneycare" in Massachusetts.  He was part of President Obama's transition team in 2008 and The Washington Post reported he was paid $400,000 for the work.  He is known for making some very controversial statements concerning the "stupidity" of the American people when it comes to the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare).  The truth of the matter, Mr. Gruber, is that this monstrosity didn't come about because the average run-of-the mill American wanted the bill to be passed.  If you can recall during the summer of 2009, there were all sorts of Town Hall meetings across America concerning the possible passage of Obamacare.  Numerous Americans protested vociferously to our elected elite concerning this bill.  They didn't want it passed.  It was President Obama, then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and other Democrats who railroaded this bill through Congress.   It was the Democrats who were directly responsible for this bill being passed through Congress while the GOP just stood by to watch them do it.  I'm sure there a few Americans who wanted this bill, but not the average taxpaying American citizen.  You/re wrong Mr. Gruber.  Click on the above link to read the full story.
