Obama: U.S. Should Embrace an Economic Patriotism That Says We Rise or Fall Together




President Obama sure has a lot of nerve.  He complains about corporations going overseas to doge having to pay their "fair share of taxes".  So they take advantage of the loophole in order to dodge taxes so they can move their headquarters overseas.  He says that's unpatriotic and that when they move overseas in order to not to have to pay their fair share of taxes it adds to the deficit.  That's not true.  And if it was partially true, you have Obama and all his minions to thank for that.  The reason why they deficit is as high as it is because Congress and the President have been grossly overspending for the last few decades.  Don't blame it on the corporations.  Also,  our government doesn't help when it comes to their policies towards business.  Their policies do nothing but encourage businesses to move overseas.  I want to say that the corporate tax rate is only part of the problem.  The biggest problem is the copious amounts of regulations that are placed on businesses each year.   That greatly impacts the operating costs of business.  I do recognize in certain aspects there has to be limited government regulation, but there's a fine line to be drawn there.  Regulations should be for the purpose of safety reasons or to prevent fraud and abuse.  Consequently, there are numerous regulations that are added to businesses from the EPA and other Congress that aren't beneficial but can result in that businesses hiring fewer employers, and reducing their wages and benefits to their employees already working.  Also, the so-called free trade agreements passed by Congress such as NAFTA and CAFTA hasn't been a help to American businesses, either. 

I, for one don't like seeing corporations moving their headquarters overseas.  But you can't raise the costs of operating a business and not expect corporations to find a way to dodge having to pay extra taxes.  They're about survival.  They will do what it takes to keep their business afloat, even if it means moving overseas.   The answer is for the government not to meddle with business in areas it has not business meddling in.  It just makes sense.

In order to defend it's gruesome business interests in the state, Planned Parenthood (the abortion provider giant) is planning on spending $3 million to buy the Texas governorship and other key state races.  Planned Parenthood is promoting Democratic candidates that will support this gruesome and evil act which God calls murder.  Planned Parenthood is supporting Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who is running against the state's attorney general, which is Greg Abbott.  The organization is trying to promote a slate of Democratic candidates for the state's House of Representatives, along with the gubernatorial race.  Planned Parenthood is launching a new facility in Dallas to compensate for the number of clinics due to the number of them that closed throughout the state because they didn't meet the requirement that the abortion doctors have admitting privileges at area hospitals with the capacity to treat women who are a victim of abortions gone wrong.  That requirement, along with another one which bans abortion after the 20th week of pregnancy, were the elements of a pro-life bill that was passed by the Texas state legislature in 2013.  To read the full article, click on the above link.

Conservative radio talk-show host Mark Levin strongly criticized comedian and quasi-news commentator for his comments on Hamas ongoing missile attacks against Israel.  Levin stated that if Hamas had the missiles that Israel has, then Israel would cease to exist, in which Levin is exactly right.  As Levin pointed out, Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, which isn't friendly towards Israel.  Hamas was also part of the PLO as well.  Hamas has the belief that Israel doesn't have the right to exist and they desire to annihilate Israel.  Levin was a guest on Hannity's Fox News television last night on July 22, 2014.

Businessman David Perdue, running for his first political office in the state of Georgia, defeated 11-term Congressman Jack Kingston in the Republican Party primary runoff in Georgia today.  He will face former Senator Sam Nunn's daughter, Michelle Nunn, in the general election in November.  David Perdue, the cousin of former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue, is a former CEO of Dollar General and Reebok, and has cast himself as a former outsider in Washington.  With 100% of the vote counted, Perdue won 50.9 percent of the vote while Kingston won 49.1 percent of the vote.  To read the full story, click on the above link from WashingtonTimes.com.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) indicated that he wouldn't defund unconstitutional acts from President Obama if they exceed his authority.  Instead, Speaker Boehner has filed a lawsuit against President Obama for exceeding his constitutional authority when it comes to issuing executive orders.  This lawsuit from Boehner is nothing but a waste of time.  If Boehner and the GOP-led Congress won't use the power of the purse and defund unconstitutional spending, then they deserve to be voted out of office this November even if it means that voting out RINO's could tip the balance to the Democrats.  As much as I don't desire to see Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House again, it's a waste of time to keep re-electing Boehner, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his cronies if they won't defend the Constitution.  Boehner has done nothing but lie to the American people when back in 2010 when Boehner and other GOP members drafted the "Pledge to America" which states that Congress would be doing the "people's business" and would repeal or defund Obamacare.  He also stated that fiscal sanity would be brought to Congress as well.  That hasn't happened nor does Boehner plan to.  Instead he allows Obama to push through unconstitutional executive orders and approves funding for spending bills that should be rejected.  These RINO's in the House as well as in the Senate are nothing but traitors and need to be voted out in this November's general election.

Today marks the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11's historic trip to the moon.  The crew of Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins set out to embark on an adventure never done before in the history of mankind on this earth.  They set out for this voyage at the Kennedy Space center in Florida on July 16, 1969 and they arrived at the moon on July 20, 1969.  They splashed down in Hawaii on July 24, 1969. 

President John F. Kennedy made the statement on January 25, 1961 that he had the goal of America sending the first man to the moon before the end of the decade (1960's).  At the time America was in a space race with Russia.  In October 1957 The Soviets launched one of the satellites, Sputnik I to space.  A year later NASA was founded and several years later the United States sent the first man on the moon on starting on July 16th, and the trio of astronauts on Apollo 11 arrived on the moon on July 20, 1969.  I have a link posted from FoxNews.com and I will feature some YouTube videos of the network coverage of man going to the moon.  In 1969, there were only three major television networks reporting the news of Apollo 11, which were ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) one of the Senate Republicans who partially funded attack ads painting Tea Partyers as racists.

A few weeks ago I heard radio talk-show host Mark Levin mention about the attack ads that Senate Republicans ran on attacking Christ McDaniel in the Mississippi runoff, which paired incumbent Republican Thad Cochran against Tea Party Republican Chris McDaniel.  They were depicting McDaniel as a racist and called on Mississippi Democrats to vote in the Republican runoff.  Advertisements by All Citizens for Mississippi, which attacked Tea party candidate Chris McDaniel and referred to Tea Partyers as racists were funded by Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Bob Corker (R-TN), Rob Portman (R-OH), John Cornyn (R-TX)  and Roy Blunt (R-MO). 

These Senate Republicans are no better than the Democrats when resorting to similar tactics in allegations that Tea Partyers are racists.  Are Tea Party candidates your enemy, Senator McConnell?  You claim you yourself are a conservative and believe in the Constitution.  Senator McConnell, you and the other Senators that funded the Mississippi runoff attacks ads are nothing but charlatans and phonies yourself.  You're not conservative.  You aren't opposed to Obamacare.  You Senate Republicans love to remain in power yourself.  You will resort to whatever tactics you can to attack those who truly care about our country and want to see the Constitution followed.  The reason why much of the conservative basis is opposed to you all is because you campaign like you're conservative but you won't stick to your campaign promises once the election is over with.  Senators McConnell, Cornyn, Corker, Portman, and Blunt are nothing but frauds and liars.

Black residents of Chicago's South side, who recently rallied to decry a spate of violence that took place in their city, sharply criticized President Obama for ignoring their plight while pushing for funding for illegal residents at their expense. 

I can easily understand what these Chicago residents are saying.  President Obama was a community organizer in Chicago for a number of years prior to running for U.S. Senate in 2004 and President in 2008.  He claims he understands the plight of black people.  Oh really!  Blacks haven't fared better under President Obama who claims to be one of their own.  There has been violence and shooting taking place in Chicago and President Obama is spending U.S. tax dollars on funding illegal immigrants instead of trying to help those who are U.S. citizens.  Chicago is in a huge mess and Mayor Rahm Emanuel was  President Obama's White House Chief of Staff prior to running for mayor of Chicago.  Obama is a globalist and all he's about is fulfilling the agenda of the forces of Nimrod.  He's no more interested in the African American community than he is in other races, unless they're illegal immigrants.  I'm thankful to see there are black residents in Chicago who have some sense and see Obama for who he is.  Personally, I don't believe you can trust Obama no more than you can any other politician.  To read the full story, click on the above link from WashingtonTimes.com.
