U.S. Has Record 10th Straight Year Without 3% GDP Growth
U.S. Has Record 10th Straight Year Without GDP Growth
In the last 10 straight years the United States hasn't experienced any real growth in the GDP. I venture to say much of that has to do with the heavy hand of government when it comes to stringent regulations which hinder the economy from flourishing. The last time the U.S. has experienced any real growth in the GDP was during the presidency of Ronald Reagan from the years 1983-89. Our country is transforming into a socialist nation, especially with the policies of the Obama administration. Obama's predecessor George W. Bush took us down that path as well but it has really accelerated under the Obama administration. Click on the above link to read the full story.

Hillary Clinton: I Don't Believe I Have Ever Lied
Hillary Clinton: I Don't Believe I Have Ever Lied
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Clinton is either lying when she made that statement or she's deceived herself. One way or another. I've heard if a person tells a lie long enough they will believe it. That may be Hillary's problem. She's been involved in lying and deceiving throughout her whole time while in politics that she really may believe she's truthful. She was asked that question by CBS Evening News Anchor Scott Pelley. Politicians major in lying to the American people when they campaign for political office and when they're in office covering up what's going on. Of course, Hillary's lying to the American public when she says what she'll do as president. She even says she's a person of faith. Well it's not faith rooted in Jesus Christ or Biblical Christianity. I can say that. Click on the above link to read the full story.

ISIS mlitants in the city of Mosul
One of the most dangerous Islamic groups that Iraq and Syria both face is ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) It has the desire to unleash chemical weapons on its enemies. ISIS is an enemy that the United States must destroy if it's going to continue in its fighting the minority Sunni group in Iraq. ISIS is no terrorist group to play with. They want to make chemical weapons. They are dangerous. To read the story, click on the above link.

Rep. Upton: Under GOP President, Congress Will be Ready to Repeal, Replace Obamacare
Under GOP President Congress Will be Ready to Replace, Repeal Obamcare
Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich) made the statement that if the U.S. elects a Republican president in November, then Congress will be prepared to replace and repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamcare) that was jammed down our throats by President Obama and the Democratic Congress on March 23, 2010. Don't hold your breath on that. I would like to believe that, but Republicans don't have a good track record of keeping their word and I can recall when George W. Bush was president and both houses were Republican, they didn't accomplish much. The deficit continued skyrocketing under the Bush administration as well as many other things. If Donald Trump is elected president in November, what nakes you think he will even push for the repeal of Obamacare and there if there is a GOP majority, that doesn't mean they will all will work to see it repealed. I don't have much confidence in our lawmakers doing the right thing. Click on the above link to read the full story.

Former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the influential conservative and provocative member of the court, died Saturday morning at the age of 79. The U.S. Marshals service in Washington confirmed his death. He had retired to his residence to the Big Bend area in South Texas. The service's spokeswoman, Donna Sellars stated that he didn't show up for breakfast Saturday morning. That's when they found him dead.
Scalia was appointed by Ronald Reagan in 1986. He helped move the court further to the right. He was a constitutionalist. He was in favor of gun rights and supported laws that outlawed abortions. A New Series on Bible Doctrines
We are going to start a new series on Bible doctrines. Any Christian who is going to fight the battle that's taking place in our country and our world today needs to be studied on the doctrines of the Bible. The level of Bible ignorance is so appalling in our nation and our world today that it's tragic. Those who are saved need to be knowledgeable on what the Bible says. Therefore, we're going to spend the next year probably studying various Bible Doctrines in the Word of God.
The text for this course comes from the book entitled, Bible Doctrines For Today, by Michael C. Bere. There are nine different topics that this book covers. The book is very detailed and it brings a lot of enlightenment to the various doctrines of scripture. Some of the different topics we'll cover are:
1. Bibliology
2. Theology
3. Christology
4. Pneumatology
5. Anthropology
6. Soiterology
7. Ecclesiology
8. Angelogy
9 Eschatology
These are the different topics we'll be covering. The first question I would like to pose is what is the definition of "doctrine?" The term doctrine simply means "teachings." The Bible is a book of teachings when it comes to the Word of God. Since the Bible is God's infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word, that all the teachings contained in the Word are true. Not one teaching is false. Not one. God's word is inspired and inerrant, which we'll look into later. However, there are many doctrines taught in many denominations that are false, such as the doctrine of Catholicism, Hypercalvinism, etc. There are false doctrines taught on salvation and the Godhead. However, they are false. And they are not sound doctrine. The New Testament talks much about the importance of sound doctrine in the epistles. One of the responsibilities we have in studying the Word of God is to rightly divide the Word of God. We need to know how to rightly interpret the Word. The Devil uses false doctrines to deceive the child of God. We need to be thoroughly grounded in truth.
I'll continue this thought in the next post.

Franklin Graham on Transgenders: We Don't Need Men and Predators in Women's Bathrooms
Graham on Transgenders
Homosexual rainbow flag
Franklin Graham was in Atlanta, Georgia on February 10, 2016 as part of his Decision Tour 2016 and was speaking of the importance of Christians voting and being a part of the electoral process. Graham was speaking of the mayoral election in Charlotte, North Carolina last year. He stated that 90% of the Christians didn't vote in that election and Charlotte elected a woman mayor who espouses a pro-gay agenda. He stated when Christians stay out of the electoral process, "political garbage" is the result. Graham was stating that Charlotte's mayor was trying to get gay transgenders into women's bathrooms. So if a man one day feels like he's a woman and he desires to go into a woman's bathroom, then he can go right ahead. Graham said that's wicked and evil and that men and predators have no right to go into women's bathrooms. I say amen to that. Graham was pointing out that's what we get when Christians don't vote. He stated Christians need to stand up for truth. He was right on target. Amen to Franklin Graham and the stands he's taking against the immorality going on in our country. Sanders: Government Has a Moral Responsibility to Guarantee a Decent Living for Everybody
Senator Bernie Sanders at a debate
PBS moderator Judy Woodruff asked Senator Bernie Sanders during a Democratic debate on Thursday how big would government be if he had the chance to promise everything he wants do for the American people. He stated that his government would be big enough to ensure everybody has healthcare, colleges and universities would be tuition-free, and he would spend trillions of dollars rebuilding the nation's infrastructure.
Sanders is just another Democratic socialist espousing the same old pipe dream many others countries have tried and hasn't worked. Our nation is in such huge debt that it's about to go under Government doesn't have a responsibility to guarantee Americans a decent living. Government has a responsibility to not be in the way of the private sector and the American people when it comes to making a living. The reason why the economy is in the shape it's in is because of massive government spending and stringent regulations on the private sector. Obamacare is all about the destruction of capitalism. We're already seeing the results of Obama's "radically transforming our country" and our country is in a mess. To read the full story, click on the above link.
