Boehner Takes Revenge
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is re-elected for a third term as Speaker of the House.
House Speaker John Boehner has decided to retaliate against the "vocal minority" who supposedly "tried" to against Boehner from winning his third term as House Speaker. Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) ran as the next candidate for House Speaker. Rep. Tim Nugent also opposed Boehner and supported Webster for speaker. As a result, both representatives have been removed from the Rules committee in the House. Supposedly Boehner is going to remove other representatives from prominent seats of power who supposedly don't support him. The truth of the matter is, this whole "incident" to unseat John Boehner as Speaker is a farce. The fix was in to ensure that Boehner remains as House Speaker. Nobody was going to seriously run against him in the GOP House to oust Boehner. Boehner needs to be removed. He's a fraud and a liar. He's not going to convince me that he will fight "tooth and nail" against the omnibus bill that he hurriedly pushed through the House in December that funds amnesty. He will say one thing to the public but behind closed doors with Obama and Reid, he does another thing. He has no business being Speaker again. But in Congress it's business as usual regardless what the voters say. Click on the above link from Politico to read the full story.
