Mitt Romney Wins Kentucky, Arkansas Primaries
Presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney swept both the Kentucky and Arkansas primaries this past Tuesday May 22, 2011. He won all the 42 delegates in Kentucky and at least 31 of the 33 delegates at stake in Arkansas. The latest delegate count places the former Massachusetts governor at 1079 delegates. He's just 79 delegates shy to clinch the nomination. He's expected to do so more than likely next week when voters go to the polls in Texas.

Bush: 'Arab Spring' Is ‘Broadest Challenge to Authoritarian Rule Since Collapse of Soviet Communism’
Bush: 'Arab Spring' Is ‘Broadest Challenge to Authoritarian Rule Since Collapse of Soviet Communism’ | CNSNews.com
Former president George W. Bush said last Tuesday that the 'Arab Spring' is "the broadest challenge to authoritarian rule since the collapse of Soviet Communism." Bush said, "These are extraordinary times in the history of freedom." He made that statement in Washington, D.C. at the George W. Bush Institute, sponsored by his presidential foundation. "Great change has come to a region where many thought it impossible." Bush also said, "The idea that Arab people are somehow content with oppression has been discredited forever," Bush said, "Yet we've also seen instability, uncertainty, and the revenge of brutal rulers. The collapse of an old order can unleash resentments and power struggles that a new order is not yet prepared to handle." "Freedom is a powerful force," Bush said, "but it does not advance on wheels of historical inevitably." The event at which Bush spoke was entitled, "Celebration of Human Freedom."
Bush praised the Arab Spring and stated that critics adhere to a foreign policy of supporting flawed dictators in these regions in the name of stability. He mentioned that some critics view the risks inherent in "democratic" change and find the risks too great. He said the policy of so-called stability doessn't necessarily enhance our security. He said it shouldn't be within the power of America to indefinitely preserve the old order, which is inherently unstable.
This idea that democracy can be achieved in the Middle East is a myth. Islam is the chief religion of the Middle East. Islam is a religion or an ideology which doesn't recognize the concept of democracy, or the people rule. Islam and democracy don't mix. Secondly, democracy is another word for mob rule, which is exactly what takes place in the Middle East. The Arabs in the Middle East know nothing of the principles of self-rule. It takes a group of people who understand the concept of freedom to create a nation that allows it's citizenry freedom. Freedom requires form and responsibility. It takes a moral and religious people to build a free country. The Arabs don't know anything about the freedom that we as Americans enjoy.
Another point I need to make is America isn't a democracy. It's a representative republic. There are some democratic principles inherent in our government such as the right to vote and ballot intiatives, for example. America has never been a pure democracy. The reason why America has thrived for so long because we live in a country that knows about the principle of self-government. Freedom won't work for a people that know violence. The reason why our form of government has worked for so long in America is because of the Judeo-Christian foundation our society was built upon. America was founded by religious people who came here to worship God without state interference. America is totally different from the Middle East. You can't have a democracy with a religion which uses violence and suicide missions to kill the infidel. The Middle East is nothing but a battleground. With the overthrow of such dictators as Hosni Mubarak and Moammar Gadhafi, for example, it could eventually result in the formation of an Islamic caliphate.

NAACP Announces Support of Same Sex Marriage
NAACP announces support of same-sex marriage, shoring up Obama's base | Fox News
Last Saturday the NAACP, the 103 year-old civil rights group, announced their support of same-sex marriage. The group's board of directors made the decision at a meeting last weekend, saying it was a "historic continuation of equal protection under the law." The decision follows President Obama's announcement on his support for "gay" marriage this past month. Black religious leaders, who have opposed President Obama's stance on same-sex marriage, have softened their stance in recent days.
I'm not very surprised over the NAACP's decision to voice their support for same-sex marriage. The NAACP is all about political correctness. Since the NAACP supports Democratic candidates, they'll go along with whatever the agenda is. Could President Obama's and the NAACP's support of same-sex marriage be a divisive in this year's presidential election amongst the black community? I wish it would but given the track record of the voting record of black Americans, I project the vast majority will still vote for Barack Obama in this year's November election. Pastor Emmett said on the Sunday following President Obama's May 9 announcement concerning same-sex marriage that he opposed the president's decision but still will vote for Obama anyway. Moral/spiritual issues aren't that important to majority of Americans, regardless of race. Only a small minority of Americans vote on the basis of social/moral issues. Many civil rights leaders such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton want to equate "gay" rights on the same footing as the black communities in their quest to obtain civil rights in the 1960's. Nothing could be further from the truth. Blacks are born blacks. They had no choice of what their race would be when they're born. Contrary to the opinion of some in the media and the psychiatric community, nobody is born a homosexual. Homosexuality is a choice an individual makes. Nobody is born with homosexual tendencies. God made man to desire the opposite sex. A person that is a homosexual is not natural in his affections. That's unnatural.

An Autopsy Reveals That Trayvon Martin Had Traces of Marijuana in System at Time of Death
Trayvon Martin had traces of marijuana in system at time of death, autopsy reveals - NYPOST.com
Trayvon Martin
According to an autopsy report released last Thursday, Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen that was shot in self-defense by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in February, had traces of marijuana in his system at the time of his death. The report shows that a medical examiner found THC, an active ingredient in marijuana, in Martin's blood and urine. The chemical can remain in an individual's system weeks after marijuana use. Days before his death, Martin had reportedly been suspended from school because an empty bag with traces of marijuana had been found in his bookbag. The autopsy reported that Martin, 17, was shot at an intermediate range, described at a distance of 1 to 18 inches, and that he also had an abrasion on one of his fingers. The report could also bolster Zimmerman's claims that he shot Martin while on a back during a struggle. There was a witness that said that the black male was on the white or Hispanic male and throwing punches (MMA), mixed martial arts style. Martin's family had identified the teen's voice in the screaming the Monday he was shot. However, Trayvon's father, Robert Martin disputed that claim and stated he no doubt heard George Zimmerman yelling for help.
All the accusations leveled against George Zimmerman that his actions were the result of racism is more than likely nothing but a hyped-up charge by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and others in the civil rights community as a means to find some excuse to say that blacks are being preyed upon by whites. This is nothing but political correctness run amok. The latest evidence proves that George Zimmerman acted in self-defense. It's foolish. Al Sharpton and his cohorts are always looking for a case to keep their cause alive that blacks are always being targeted by whites. Sharpton and his crowd are nothing but race-baiters.

Gallup Analysis: Obama’s Chance of a Loss Greater Than a Win
Gallup Analysis: Obama’s Chance of a Loss Greater Than a Win
Newsmax posted an article on it's website Thursday entitled, "Gallup Analysis: Obama's Chance of a Loss Greater Than a Win." Newsmax states with an approval rating below 50%, a sour mood nationally, and Romney tying or trailing GOP rival Mitt Romney doesn't bode well for him in this fall's election. Gallup polls show that Obama's job approval rating during the first week of May averaged just 47% and a May 3-6 Gallup poll found only 24% of Americans were satisfied with the direction this country is heading. A poll in the battleground state of North Carolina finds that Mitt Romney leading the president and on the same day another poll showed Wisconsin is in a dead heat. President Obama won Wisconsin handily in 2008. With the economy growing sluggishly, it has helped president Obama. Even though I don't have any polling to back what I'm about ready to say, I feel that President Obama's announcement that he supports gay marriage didn't help him. Why do I say that? Do most Americans oppose gay marriage? I'm sure a great percentage of Americans do. However, I believe many Americans feel President Obama should be focusing more on the economy and families with children than concern himself with the homosexual agenda. I do stand by that. Many families that are concerned about the economy are worried about the future of their children and are worried what their children will face when they become adults and search for a job in the future.
Rasmussen Reports in its polling earlier this week that Mitt Romney has a sliver of a lead over the president as well. Rasmussen has very accurate polling and they were on target in their polling during the 2008 presidential election. I need to caution conservative voters to not become over-optimistic. The election is now less than six months away but many factors can play a role to change the outcome of the election. First of all, is Mitt Romney going to speak like he's prepared for the job? Is he going to speak out on the issues that the average media won't speak about such as the need to build a border fence and the need for the U.S. to unhook from the Federal Reserve? Mitt Romney has been know for waffling on issues. He doesn't appeal to many evangelical conservatives because he's a Mormon, for one thing. Another problem is he set in place Romneycare in Massachusetts as governor, which is healthcare on a similar scale to Obamacare. He's going to have a difficult time convincing conservative voters that he will muster his efforts to repeal Obamacare. The biggest concern I have is a third-party candidate, in the form of a Donald Trump, challenging the presidential ticket. If a third-party candidate emerges that says the things that ring a bell with the average voter, then that will more than likely split the Republican vote which will in effect given Obama a second term as president. I hope that doesn't happen but don't be too sure. There's still plenty of time for a third-party candidate to emerge to disturb this year's presidential ticket. We need to be cautious and do everything within our power as voters to send the message that President Obama needs to be defeated this November. The only way that will happen is for voters to pull the lever for Obama's rival Romney. That's the only way Obama will be defeated in November.

Douglas MacArthur Farewell Speech to Congress
I have linked up an article from the New American website entitled, "Fifty Years After MacArthur's "Duty, Honor, Country" speech which he gave to the cadets at West Point on May 12, 1962. It's a great article speaking about the military career of the great general of World War II and part of the Korean War. How America needs another General Douglas MacArthur today leading the military. I believe General MacArthur would turn over in his grave if he were to see the direction the U.S. military has taken since the 1960's. I remember hearing the words he echoed before Congress 60 years ago. "There's no substitute for victory." That adage still applies today. Consequently, President Obama, former president George W. Bush, the current members in the Department of Defense and the State Department, along with past members of the Department of Defense need to take heed to what MacArthur said. It's an absolute disagrace that America's troops are still in Afghanistan. It shouldn't be that way. The goal of the elected elite along with our military brass isn't about winning. I don't know what all the motives are for America's troops being embroiled in the Middle East but I believe part of it revolves around the profit motive. There's money involved in the waging of wars. America has went the wrong way for years. It's time we heed what General MacArthur said so many years ago. I have posted some YouTube clips on the various speeches that General MacArthur gave before Congress and one segment at the West Point Academy in 1962. I hope you enjoy them.

CBS/New York Times Poll States Romney Shows Lead Among Women
Poll shows Romney leads among women, media largely silent - Spokane Conservative | Examiner.com
CBS/New York Times Poll reveals Mitt Romney now leads among women over Barack Obama
A new CBS/New York Times poll released Monday evening states that GOP candidate Mitt Romney is now leading President Barack Obama among women voters 46% - 44% in an eight point switch from April when the president lead Mitt Romney 49% - 43%. Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner stated that
"President Obama's claim that the GOP is mounting a war on women has proven to be a failure."
What a switch! I wonder what changed that scenario? It probably depends on the pollsters that took the sample. It was probably some pollster from the Democratic Party machine that was in support of Obama and they probably asked questions to a certain segment of women that probably would be more than likely in favor of President Obama. CNN added that 67% of women were skeptical of President Obama's recent announcement on gay marriage, adding that most believe the president made that statement for political reasons, with 86% of Republicans and 70% of Independents holding that view.
I personally believe that the reason for the shift is in part due to President Obama's announcement about same-sex marriage last week. President Obama appears to be more concerned to catering to sodomites than he does the traditional family. I believe most American women or at least the mainstream of American women are concerned about the economy, and the future their children will have to face. I don't believe most women think of homosexuality like President Obama and the Democratic Party does.

Bill Clinton Refers to Obama as an 'Amateur" According to Edward Klein
Bill Clinton calls Obama ‘amateur’ president: book - NYPOST.com
According to Edward Klein, who wrote a new biography of President Barack Obama entitled, The Amateur, he mentioned that former president Bill Clinton thought so little of Barack Obama that he mocked him as an 'amateur." Bill Clinton supposedly encouraged his wife to quit her post as Secretary of State last summer and persuaded her to challenge President Obama in this year's Democratic presidential primary. Hillary, of course, stated she wasn't going to challenge Obama nor did she intend to remain as Secretary of State if President Obama wins a second term as president earlier this year.
The title of the book was taken from Clinton's bombshell criticism of the president. "Barack Obama," Bill Clinton said according to book experts, "is an amateur." The book says that Bill urged Hillary to challenge Obama for president last summer in the ex-president's home office in Chappaqua last August that included longtime friends, according to Klein. Klein says that Bill told Hillary that the economy's a mess and that America lost it's Triple-A rating. He said that Hillary knows better than Obama. Bill Clinton insisted that he had no relationship with Obama and was contacted more by his presidential successor, George W. Bush. "Obama, Bill Clinton said, "doesn't know how to be president and is incompetent." Hillary resisted her husband's remarks and asked, "Why risk everything now?" She said she wanted to leave a legacy as Secretary of State. She said if nothing else she could consider 2016 for a presidential run.
There have been some critics that have criticized Klein's comments such as Bill Clinton's spokesman Mat McKenna and Phillippe Reines, a spokesman for the Secretary of State. Who's telling the truth I don't know but I firmly believe the Clinton's aren't close friends to Obama for no other reason than the results of the 2008 Democratic primary. I personally believe the Clinton's are very disappointed in the fact that the Democratic primary was rigged in order to ensure that Barack Obama received the party's nomination that year. I do believe the book would be interesting reading.

Romney Says That Marriage is Between One Man and One Woman at Liberty University
Romney addreses gay marriage issue at Liberty Univ, saying 'one man and one woman' | Fox News
Mitt Romney speaking at the Liberty University Commencement
Mitt Romney's commencement speech Saturday focused largely on the theme of faith, family, hard work, and service at Liberty University. He also addressed the emerging same-sex issue before a crowd of students in lieu of President Obama's announcement that he supports same-sex marriage between homosexuals. Romney said marriage is a "relationship between one man and one woman." That remark drew a thunderous applause for the likely GOP presidential candidate who faced a big test amongst evangelical voters. The Lynchburg, Va. based school founded by the late Jerry Falwell teaches that sex out of wedlock and homosexuality are sins. Romney, who's a Mormon, delivered the speech in the heart of "conservative" Virginia. He's trying to court evangelical voters, who are skeptical of Romney because of his past positions on abortion as well that he's a Mormon. As governor of Massachussets, he presided over the state where the state Supreme Court said that gay couples couldn't be denied the right to marry. I've heard it stated by Jim Sumpter a few years ago that the Massachusetts Supreme Court stated that denying gay couples the right to marry was unconstitutional the way it was written. Sumpter said that Romney was given a primer to change the wording so it would be clear that homosexuals couples couldn't marry. Romney said to let it stand the way it is. That's what I've heard.
Mitt Romney certainly has a credibility gap among Christian conservatives in the GOP considering his flip-flopping on abortion and his supporting certain types of rights for homosexuals such as allowing states to give same-sex couples certain domestic partnership benefits such as adoption. Susannah Wesley
Raising Godly Children: 16 House Rules by Susannah Wesley (John Wesley's Mom)
The Things I Learned at Mother's Knee
Heaven Will Never Welcome a Sweeter Mama
Susannah Wesley
When we think of examples of great Godly mothers of the past, one would have to look no further than take a look at the of Susannah Wesley. Susannah Wesley was the mother of John and Charles Wesley. John Wesley was a famous preacher in whom he was credited for founding Methodism, or the Methodist Church. Charles Wesley was also a preacher. He was also known for writing numerous poems, totalling around 9000. Many of them were hymns. Susannah Wesley had a total of 19 children. Only ten of her children survived into adulthood, three sons and seven daughters Those who survived into adulthood accomplished great things for the Lord. I've already mentioned John and Charles Wesley. Both of them turned this continent around for the Lord Jesus Christ. All three sons earned M.A.'s from oxford. All her sons were clergyman.
Susannah was very diligent in raising her children. She educated her children at home. She was a firm believer in discipline. She raised her children in the ways of God. I have linked up an article of the 16 rules that she laid down in her home. It would behoove all blog readers viewing this post to click on the link to read the list of rules she laid down in her home. She raised her children in a Christlike manner. At the end of the link she speaks about her philosophy of discipline. I'm going to close with a quote from her concerning the discipline of a child.

When the will of a child is totally subdued, and it is brought to revere and stand in awe of the parents, then a great many childlike follies...may be passed by...I insist on the conquering of the will of children betimes, because this is the only and strong rational foundation of a religious education... when this is thoroughly done, then a child is capable of being governed by reason and piety.

Amendment One: N.C. Voters Approve Measure to Block Same-Sex Marriage
Amendment One: N.C. voters approve measure to block same-sex marriage | CharlotteObserver.com & The Charlotte Observer Newspaper
Charlotte Pastor Mark Harris and Cindy Marrelli of Raleigh observe the passage of the N.C. marriage amendment during the election night party at the North Raleigh Hilton.
Amid the largest primary turnout in decades, citizens of North Carolina voted for it to become the 31st state to pass an amendment to place stronger legal barricades before same-sex unions. According to 90% of the vote at the time of this headline, 61% of North Carolina voters voted for a constitutional amendment to make marriage exclusively between a man and a woman. 39% voted against it.
I'm very thankful to see that the citizens of North Carolina have enough sense to vote for the amendment which would define marriage as between a man and a woman only. It would be a huge embarrassment for North Carolina if they voted this amendment down. The reason being is because North Carolina is in the Bible belt. I just hope the voters there will have enough sense to not re-elect President Obama in November. In 2008 N.C. voters voted for Barack Obama. That was the first time the residents of North Carolina voted for a Democrat for president since Jimmy Carter. President Obama this past week just expressed what I believe he has stood for all along. He stated this week he is supportive of same-sex marriage. I don't believe for one second his views on same-sex marriage have evolved over the last few years. It wasn't politically expedient for Obama to support "gay marriage" back in 2008. Now he has nothing to worry about. The sad truth is the president's endorsement of gay marriage isn't going to result in him being voted out in November. It should but sadly most Americans don't care about moral issues such as sodomy. A nation that opens it arms to embrace sodomy is headed for God's judgment. God says it's an abomination.

Family Says Story About Romney Prank on Brother 'Factually Incorrect' Politically Motivated
Family: Story about Romney prank on brother 'factually incorrect,' politically motivated | Fox News
According to Fox News, the family of a late classmate whom Mitt Romney allegedly bullied in high school said Friday that the portrayal of their brother in news media reports is "factually incorrect" and that they are "aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda." The family also said in a public statement they wouldn't comment on this any further. A Washington Post story Thursday stated that Romney and at least one other high school classmate had held down John Lauber, who was presumed to be a homosexual, and cut off his long, bleached-blond hair. Christine Lauber, his older sister, later told ABC News she was in college while her brother and Romney attended high school at the Cranbrook School in Bloomfield, Michigan. Romney has apologized for what he calls pranks and "hijinks" during his school. Romney told Fox News Radio that he doesn't recall that incident, which was supposedly to have occurred around 1965, and he didn't know that the student was gay. Romney also said he certainly didn't believe he thought that individual was homosexual--definitely not back in the 60's. John Lauber reportedly died of liver cancer around 2004. Christine Lauber said she believed her brother would've been furious if he had heard that story.
I personally believe this particular story was fabricated to begin with. It's a means for the Obama media machine to find something to smear Romney with. The left are trying to use this "fabricated" incident to portray Romney as "anti-gay" or "homophobic". Back in the 1960's, society as a whole didn't have their mind on sodomy. Homosexuality wasn't part of a person's daily vocabulary at that time. Sodomy probably wasn't in the news back in 1965 any, if at all. Back then homosexuals weren't parading around protesting across America demanding their rights to be recognized as gays. You can thank the news media and President Bill Clinton starting in 1992 for making sodomy a major part in the daily newspapers. There isn't a day that goes by that you won't read something about homosexuals in the news. It wasn't that way around 1965. Somebody from the Washington Post evidently had a politicial agenda against Romney to write that post.
Another thing I find unusual about that story is I don't believe young boys or men in America had long hair in 1965. There might be a few examples, but it wasn't customary for guys to have long hair at that time. It was through the Beatles that resulted in young men growing long hair. This story sounds ludicrous.

Indiana Senate: Richard Mourdock Topples Veteran Richard Lugar
Indiana Senate: Richard Mourdock topples veteran Richard Lugar | Indianapolis Star | indystar.com
State Treasurer Richard Mourdock in his election victory over veteran Senator Richard Lugar.
On Tuesday May 8, 2012, State Treasurer Richard Mourdock defeated veteran Senator Richard Lugar in the Indiana primary. It might have been considered a huge upset except Lugar was the underdog in this race. Lugar's age, his home, his conservative credentials and his voting record were all under assault. Only 90 minutes after the polls closed, Mourdock was projected the winner over Lugar. Lugar was pounded by Mourdock 61-39. That was a blowout. That was with 98% of the vote already being counted.
Mourdock will face a general election matchup with U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly, who was unopped in the Democratic primary along with Libertarian Andy Horning. I want to congratulate the Republican voters of Indiana in voting out this career incumbent. Lugar basically rolled over for the Democrats while U.S. Senator. I'm looking for Utah voters to vote out Orrin Hatch in the Utah primary on June 26. Click on the above link to read the full story about this primary election.

Obama Expresses His Support For 'Gay' Marriage
Obama backs gay marriage, answering speculation on 'evolving' position | Fox News
President Obama has officially expressed his support for 'gay' marriage, which shouldn't be surprising. He was supportive of "same-sex" marriage all along. He just didn't reveal it until now, which was just days after Vice-president Joe Biden and Education Secretary gave their endorsement towards gay marriage. There had been speculation for days concerning Obama's stance on the issue. He can now do so because it won't affect him when it comes to his re-election this fall. The sad truth is that it doesn't matter to a great percentage of Americans, even those who claim to be religious. Most Americans are more concerned about the economy than issues such as gay marriage. The truth of the matter is that sodomy is an abomination to God. Somdomites can't reproduce. God's definition of the family unit has always been a man and a woman joining together in holy matrimony. Nothing else suffices. The family unit is the backbone of American society. The Biblical definition of a family is husband, wife, and children.
In less than 90 minutes after revealing his decision, Obama received a $1 million donation. I suppose money didn't play a part in that decision. Or did it? I'll allow you to figure that one out. I believe President Obama has always been in support of same-sex marriage since it's been an issue in the political arena. He's always about being politically correct. The leftist Democrats always jump on the politically correct bandwagon.

GOP candidate Mitt Romney speaks at Lansing Community College in Lansing, MI.
On Tuesday May 8, 2012, Mitt Romney won all three primaries in Indiana, North Carolina, and West Virginia, even though the headline of this article doesn't bear that out given the fact that this article was written before West Virginia was declared for Romney. The trio victories gave Romney a projected 100 more delegates. Romney needs at least close to 100 delegates to clinch the nomination.

Romney Targets 4 Percent Unemployment, as Obama Pleased With Progress
Romney targets 4 percent unemployment, as Obama pleased with progress | Fox News
GOP candidate Mitt Romney
President Barack Obama
Trying to make an important point in his presidential campaign to unseat President Obama, GOP candidate Mitt Romney on Friday set a target of 4% for the nation's unemployment rate, while at the same time President Obama proclaimed it good news that the U.S. economy is consistently adding new jobs. Both Romney and Obama used a fresh jobs report to bolster their own campaign's economic narrative. The Labor Department gave mixed reviews for April, stating that the economy added 115,000 jobs, fewer than expected, and the unemployment rate dipped slightly to 8.1%, mostly because those who have been previously looking for work have stopped doing so. Obama called the report another sign of slow but steady progress in pulling the economy out of the depths of the recession. Romney made the point that the president's policies haven't worked fast enough for the millions of Americans still looking for work. "Anything over 4 percent is not cause for celebration," Romney said as he campaigned in Pittsburgh.
The reason why the economy has been very sluggish in trying to recover is because the Obama-trons have been doing everything in their power to hinder the private sector from growing with the added regulations from the Dodd-Frank bill of 2010 and the Affordable Healthcare Act of 2010, to name a few. When Obamacare is fully implemented, it will be devastating for job creation. The best thing the government can do is to allow the private sector to grow on it's own. The free market should determine supply and demand--not the federal government. Countries like Russia are known for central planning, which gives the government control over supply and demand. Romney himself knows that the private sector creates jobs and the president himself can't grow the economy. The most the federal government can do is to remove all the mundane regulations and abolish the present tax code. Those two things are hampering the economy. Another thing the U.S. government needs to do is to renege on NAFTA, CAFTA, and any of the free trade agreements within the last 20 years which have resulted in millions of American jobs being shipped overseas. Consequently, what you see taking place in the American economy is Obama's vision of transforming this country. Click on the above link to read the full story.

Poll: Mourdock Headed for Comfortable Win Over Lugar
Poll: Mourdock Headed for Comfortable Win Over Lugar
Indiana Senator Richard Lugar in debate with Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
According to a poll on Friday, Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock is headed for a comfortable win over Indiana's senior Senator Richard Lugar in the Indiana primary just four days before the ballots open. The Howey/DePauw poll gave Mourdock a 10 percentage point lead and a huge blow for the veteran Senator. Earlier this week, Lugar was two points up in a survey with ties to his campaign. Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday to decide which of these two men in the Republican men will face Democrat Rep. Joe Donnelly in November's Senate election. Mourdock has won endorsements from major conservative figures such as former Alaska governor and 2008 VP candidate Sarah Palin, Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, and Grover Norquist. Lugar has the backing of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. The campaign has become increasingly bitter in the weeks running up to the poll. The poll among 700 likely votes was conducted on Monday and Tuesday by Republican pollster Christine Matthews and Democrat Fred Yang. It gave Mourdock a 48% to 38% lead. This poll represents a massive swing to Mourdock since Howey/DePauw polled the state in late March. At the last polling Lugar had a seven-point lead over Mourdock. The pollster says Lugar is likely to be defeated because pollsters think 36 years is long enough for a Senator to remain in office. Richard Lugar won his first Senate seat in 1976.
If this poll is accurate, then we'll have an incumbent Republican defeated in Indiana's primary. That's wonderful news. There are numerous other incumbent Republicans that need to be defeated in their state's primaries. There's a possibility that Utah Senator Orrin Hatch could be defeated in it's June 26th primary. He's held his seat in Utah as long as Lugar has held his seat in Indiana. I would like to see House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor receive stiff opposition in their primaries, which hasn't transpired this year. We need to vote out these career politicians. They're part of the problem. They're worthless. They don't care anything about the Constitution. They're not standing against President Obama's socialist agenda. Hopefully Indiana voters will send a message to Lugar and that is good riddance. Indiana's better off without you!

Mitt Romney Will Lose the Presidential Election if Chris Christie is on the Presidential Ticket
Chris Christie On VP: Romney "Might Be Able To Convince Me" | RealClearPolitics
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie endorsing former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney earlier this year.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a rising star in the Republican Party, said Mitt Romney "might be able to convince me" if GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney were to ask him to consider being his running mate on this year's presidential ticket. Chris Christie has had numerous pleadings from various Republicans to join in the race and run for president of the United States since he became the first Republican to win the governorship of New Jersey since former governor Christine Todd-Whitman in 1993. In 2010 Christie said he was "mulling" over a run for the presidency a couple of times before he finally said he wants to remain as New Jersey's governor. Even though Christie says he would rather be governor of New Jersey as of right now, he loves to bask in all the latest gossip about running for president or possibly willing to be the VP nominee on this year's ticket. Whether or not Christie becomes Romney's choice for his running mate remains to be seen. One would think Romney might likely choose a "conservative" candidate as his choice of a running mate to woo conservative voters who are already skeptical of Romney. Choosing Chris Christie as the vice-presidential nominee doesn't help his cause. It would give conservatives the impression that Romney's not committed to conservative principles like he says he is. Romney's already a weak candidate because he flip flops and he passed a statewide version of Obamacare in April 2006 as governor of Massachusetts.
Even though Christie likes to give the impression that he desires to balance the state's budget and uses tough rhetoric, his views aren't compatible with true constitutional conservatives. He believes in cap and trade. He even appointed a Muslim last year as a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey. It's been alleged that Sohail Mohammed, the Muslim that Christie appointed, believes in Sharia law. Debbie Schussel says that Christie has a love affair (not in a sexual sense) with Hamas Muslims in New Jersey. Hamas runs the Palestinian government right next to Israel in the Middle East. Hamas despises Israel and its right to exist. Christie is sorely lacking as a VP candidate for the GOP. Chris Christie as Romney's choice for VP won't fly very well in the face of conservative voters. We Americans desire a true alternative to Barack Obama. We don't need Obama-lites running against the president.
Romney needs to assure conservative voters that he's the right candidate for the job. He needs to assure voters that he won't campaign one way as president and go the opposite direction as president. Romney has a credibility gap with conservative voters that needs to be bridged. If Christie's the VP nominee this year, then the Romney presidential ticket will go down to defeat in November.
Former Obama Aide Orszag: Tax Deal Unlikely by Year’s End
Former Obama Aide Orszag: Tax Deal Unlikely by Year’s End
Former White House Budget Director Peter Orszag
Former White House Budget Director Peter Orszag stated today what I've been predicting a few weeks ago. That is there won't be any deal made between Congress and President Obama to extend the Bush tax cuts for at least another two years. On top of that, Orszag stated that the White House and Congress will delay spending cuts as well this year. That's not surprising because the president, all 435 members of the House of Representatives, and 1/3rd of the Senate are up for re-election this year. There's no way they'll use the axe to stop wasteful spending because they're thinking about their own political careers. They'll use spending gimmicks to entice the same voters who are most likely to re-elect them. Consequently, tax hikes and "spending cuts" will kick in after the election. I personally don't project any spending cuts, but there will be all sorts of tax hikes which will drain the American economy and place us in an even worse tailspin.

Massive Inflation Coming, Warns Donald Trump
Massive Inflation Coming, Warns Donald Trump
Donald Trump
On the Money News website, Donald Trump, a real estate developer in New York is warning that massive inflation is coming to America. He stated that the U.S. economy is poised for "massive inflation" and that investors better take steps to prepare themselves. In a CNBC interview, Trump told investors that they shouldn't trust official government statistics. In questioning the official employment numbers Trump said unemployment is 20%, not 8.3%. He also believes skyrocketing oil prices will cripple the economy. "Right now, 'oil' is at an all-time record for this time of the year, in the summer they predict $5 gasoline, maybe $6." Trump isn't the only expert sounding the warning alarm for massive inflation. Robert Wiedemer, author of the New York Time's best-selling book Aftershock, stated in a recent interview, "The data is clear, 50% unemployment, a 90% stock market drop, and 100% annual inflation...starting in 2012."
I know there will be some people out there that will say, "I've heard all these doom and gloom warnings for years and it hasn't gotten that bad yet." Maybe not yet. But there will be a day when the bottom falls out. I believe God's been merciful to this country. When you take a look at the direction America is going economically, we're headed for hyperinflation. High fuel prices raises the prices of goods and services in particular. High fuel prices will make it more costly for businesses to operate. Businesses won't add jobs when the costs to operate that business becomes increasingly expensive. Also, the Bush tax cuts are set to expire in January 13, which will slow down the economy even further. When Obamacare is fully implemented in 2014, it will slow down the economy even further and it will be costly. We need to wake up and realize there's a day of reckoning coming. When that day is I don't know for sure, but it's coming.

Michelle Obama's Spain vacation cost taxpayers nearly $470G, watchdog group claims | Fox News
Michelle Obama's Spain vacation cost taxpayers nearly $470G, watchdog group claims | Fox News
First Lady Michelle Obama greets Spain's King Juan Carlos as her daughter Sasha looks on.
According to a watchdog group, Judicial Watch, claimed that documents showed that First Lady Michelle Obama's trip to Spain show that the trip costed at least $467,585. These costs are split between Secret Service expenses and expenses for the flight and flight crew. Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act to obtain documents detailing the expenses of the trip. Based on the Pentagon estimates of flight costs, another $199,000 went toward the flight from the United States to Mallorca and back. On top of that there were also various expenses for the 15-person flight crew. They stayed at a local motel to the tune of $10,000, in addition to money spent on rental cars and food.
At the time of the Spanish getaway, the White House described the vacation as a private trip and said the First Lady and others would be paying their own expenses. Even though the First Lady isn't technically an elected official, any trip any away from Washington comes with inevitable costs by the taxpayer such as Secret Service protection.
Since Michelle Obama was very generous about allowing taxpayer dollars to be used for her trip to Spain nearly two years ago, maybe she would be willing to donate some of that money back to help taxpayers pay some of their debts. It's amazing how they like to portray themselves as being concerned about the average American but at the same time don't mind for taxpayers to pay for their extravagant trips overseas. Life's a party for our elected elite, which includes both Democrats and Republicans in the House and the Senate and for President Obama.
