Yesterday January 2011, was the 50th anniversary of the inaugural of John F. Kennedy.  He was the first president at that time to be born in the 29th century.  JFK was born on May 29, 1917.  He was the youngest president ever to be inaugurated at the age of 43.  He won a close race against then vice-president Richard Nixon in 1960.   He encouraged Americans in his inaugural speech "to ask not what your country can do, but ask what you can do for your country."  He believed America was a great country.  In 1961 he made the statement he wanted the United States to be the first country to send the first man on the moon.  That goal was accomplished on July 20, 1969.
