GOP Can't Become a Big Tent for Moral Relativism
Star Parker wrote an interesting concerning the GOP and stated that the GOP can't become a big tent for moral relativism. She's exactly right on target. How can you mix oil and water? You can't. Therefore the GOP can't straddle on both sides of the fence and expect to come out on top. The conservative movement needs candidates that are uniquely and distinctly different from the Democratic Party. If the GOP goes along with gay pride, abortion and other social issues that the Democrats support, that will greatly hinder the GOP base. There will be many like voters who typically vote Republican who won't vote because they don't like what they see out of the Republican Party. Voters are tired of seeing Democrat-lite candidates on the Republican ticket, like Mitt Romney in 2012. Moral and social issues are very important. We can't expect God to bless America if we don't stand for Biblical values such as marriage between man and woman, the right to life, America's support of Israel, etc. This is a spiritual battle that's taking place in the political arena. If the GOP doesn't stand for moral/social issues, then they will lose much of its base and rightly so. Click on the above link to read the article.
