Two Americans Killed in Suspected ISIS Bombing in Turkey
A suicide bombing in a popular shopping area killed at least five Americans and wounded dozens more Saturday in Istanbul may be tied to the Islamic State. The blast targeted Istiklal Street,, a major thoroughfare lined with shopping malls and restaurants that has numerous foreign tourists on there on weekends. The two Americans who were killed were dual nationals and held Israeli citizenships. The two were part of 14 Israeli tourists who went on a culinary tour and had finished breakfast when the attacks occurred. There were no immediate claims of responsibility but Israel believes it was a Turkish national tied to the Islamic State. Click on the link from the Washington Post to read the story.
