A ranking Department of Defense official made the statement that President Obama's strategy of limited air strikes in Iraq, logistical support for the Iraqi army forces, and a Free Syrian Army are doomed to fail. According to the article I read from the Daily Caller, I believe he's right. U.S. forces have been in Iraq before and the strategy we used in trying to stop the insurgents in Iraq didn't work and the strategy Obama wants to use in fighting ISIS won't work.
