Count me in as one of the 78% of Americans who didn't miss the government during it's shutdown or the "slimdown". It wasn't a full government shutdown. Members of Congress still got paid. I'm certain all their cronies were paid as well. I'm certain all the social welfare services were still in operation. Anything That our elected elite wanted funded was funded. I guarantee you that.
