For some of you who believed in the fairy tale that those who like their existing health coverage can keep it are now finding out that many of their health insurance policies are being cancelled because of the high costs that Obamacare will bring to America. The Administration stated that Obamacare will be affordable and will save money for families. That's turning out to not be the case and there are many people testifying how they're losing their health coverage because of the high costs and demands Obamacare will bring to the American public. Federal Judge Rules Part of Texas' New Abortion Law is Unconstitutional

A federal judge today blocked part of a recently signed Texas law that requires doctors to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals. District Justice Lee Yeakel wrote that the provision violates the rights of abortion doctors to do what they think is best for their patients and would unreasonably restrict a woman's access to abortion clinic. Attorney General Greg Abbott filed an emergency appeal of Yeakel's order to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. The proposed restrictions were among the toughest in the nation and gained notoriety when Democratic State Senator Wendy Davis launched a nearly 13-hour filibuster to stop the proposal in June. The law bans all abortions at 20 weeks of pregnancy and in October 2014 requires all doctors to perform abortions in surgical facilities.
It's really tragic to see an activist judge in the name of Justice Yeakel violate God's law regarding human life. Human life is no longer sacred in this society. It has a price tag to it. Justices like Yeakel pay no regard to the life of the unborn. I hope that what Justice Yeakel blocked can be undone. Only time will tell. Red Flags? Company Behind Obamacare Site Has Checkered Past

Have you tried to log on to the HealthCare.gov website and instead you read a notice that tells you to wait because there's a whole lot of traffic on it? This dysfunctional website was created by a multimillion-dollar firm which has had a checkered past with other government contracts. In projects extending from Canada to Hawaii, parent company CGI Group and its subsidiaries ran into complaints about its performance. And this while with other groups CGI was paid millions along with other contractors, to create the ObamaCare website.
In other words, this company behind creating the Obamacare website is a joke. However, I believe the government had in mind to have the website created to confuse millions of Americans who are logging on to sign up for government health insurance. I don't believe for one second our elected elite had any good intentions when they passed Obamacare in 2010 nor are their intentions good in the creation of this monstrosity of a website. Congress (both Democrat and Republican) and the President are all up to no good. I have zilch respect for any of our elected elite. It really irks me that these so-called Republicans who so claim to be staunchly opposed to Obamacare has allowed this foolishness to go forward. Both parties are in this together.

Washington Post Poll: 78% didn't Miss Government During Shutdown

Count me in as one of the 78% of Americans who didn't miss the government during it's shutdown or the "slimdown". It wasn't a full government shutdown. Members of Congress still got paid. I'm certain all their cronies were paid as well. I'm certain all the social welfare services were still in operation. Anything That our elected elite wanted funded was funded. I guarantee you that. Government Shutdown 2013: House Approves Bill to Reopen Government

I know I'm a few days behind, but I wanted to post the article mentioning about the House approving bill to reopen the government. The "partial" shutdown ended last Thursday after a "bipartisan" bill was approved to reopen the government. I know there are several opinions about who was at fault for the government shutdown. Some blamed the GOP, others blamed the Tea Party. I want to say the Tea Party isn't at fault for the GOP shutdown. None of the GOP in Congress represent the Tea Party. The Tea Party is about constitutional government and government stopping wasteful spending. I have the most trouble with the GOP who have proven themselves to be blatant liars when they promised the American people during the 2010 midterm elections that they would repeal or defund Obamacare. Instead, they allowed for the defunding of Obamacare to be attached to a continuing resolution which the GOP knew would never pass. It was a foolish the way Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul presented the resolution. It was set up to fail. They knew it would never work. It makes me furious. These incumbents need to be voted out. During the 2014 midterm election, we need to vote out all incumbents who are up for re-election.

Why do you think President Obama, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and other prominent Democrats were so adamant that Obamacare become the law of the land? It's because it fits President Obama's agenda of a radically transformed America he was talking about a few years ago. Obamacare will totally change America's social and economic structure once the key provisions are set in place. It will give the government permission to control all aspects of a person's life. It will tell them what foods they can eat and what type of care they will receive. It will also give the government the right to determine if that individual lives or dies when they reach a certain age and their health is in such shape that they're no longer "useful to society." The government will be able to control the health care industry and the economy. It will affect job growth in this country. Obamacare will make it more difficult for employers to hire more people because of the cumbersome mandates that Obamacare will imposes on small and medium-sized businesses. All of this argument that the President and the Democrats have been making about affordable health care isn't what this subject is all about. It's about controlling the choices the American people can make in regards to their health care along with radically transforming the American economy.
