Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A's executive vice president of marketing, said, "While we don't release exact sales numbers, we can confirm reports that it's a record-setting day." "The Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" was called by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who said he organized the event without discussing it with owner Dan Cathy because it emphasized an issue of fairness. Huckabee told Newsmax on Tuesday that more than 20 million people viewed his Facebook event page to learn about the day.
I went to Chick-fil-A yesterday evening 20 minutes before it closed. I really enjoyed my experience there. I highly recommend this place to eat at. It has a great atmosphere with class-A customer service. I appreciate the Christian atmosphere that the Cathy's have instilled there since 1967.
