Sandusky admits he ‘horsed around’ UW Huskies - The News Tribune
Former Penn State Assistant Coach Jerry Sandusky
Ex Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky admitted Monday that he took showers and "horsed around" with young boys, but insisted he's no pedophile who criminally assaulted children, according to an interview he gave with NBC. Sandusky was charged November 5, 2011 with molesting eight boys over a span of 15 years, and two university officials were charged with failing to notify authorities after being told about a 2002 incident in which Sandusky allegedly sodomized a boy in the showers of the football building. He is free on $100,000 bail. The scandal led to the ouster of University President Graham Spanier and former head football coach Joe Paterno, who coached at Penn State over 40+ years. On Saturday, Penn State played their final home football game against Nebraska with Joe Paterno.
This scandal could affect Penn State in regards to it's athletic program and other areas of the university for years to come. If it does, so be it. This is a tragedy which needs to be dealt with. There are a number of things I don't know about this situation, but the truth needs to be brought forth. Those who are found guilty should be prosecuted. What all took place I don't know.
