Michele Bachmann Won’t Seek Re-election Next Year

Michele Bachmann Won’t Seek Re-election Next Year - NYTimes.com

Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann (R-MN)

Representative Michelle Bachmann, the Minnesota Republican whose status as a leading "Tea Party" voice has faded in Congress, has decided not to seek re-election in 2014.  There is a widening investigation into her campaign spending revolving around her failed GOP presidential run in 2011.  Last year, she was in a close Congressional race against Democrat Jim Graves.  She narrowly defeated him in last year's Congressional race.  So she could see her numbers weren't looking too well for next year's race.

I think she realizes that it's not in her best interests to seek another term next year.  The numbers don't bode well for her.  She outspent her Democratic opponent last year by 12-1 and she just barely won that seat.  One thing that didn't make sense is that Rep. Bachmann devoted much of her time and energy running for the 2012 race knowing she stood no chance in winning.  It gave her an opportunity to be on all the television talk show outlets and spew out her latest talking points.  Consequently, she never devoted anytime doing what she said was a major priority for her--that was to repeal Obamacare.  She gave lip service to it.  It was a good issue for her campaign.  However, she never put her foot where her mouth was an used her time and energy to defund Obamacare in the House.  She was a lot of talk, but not much substance.  It's a good thing she's dropping out.  We need someone who will be willing to do what it takes to stop President Obama's agenda.  She didn't do anything of the sort.  She's another incumbent we don't need in the House.  To read the full story, click on the above link from The New York Times.

Giving Illegals Access to Welfare as Part of Immigration Reform ‘An Assault on the U.S. Taxpayer,’ Researcher Says | CNS News

Robert Rector of The Heritage FoundationRobert Rector of the Heritage Foundation

Robert Rector, senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation stated the Senate immigration legislation which includes access to federal entitlement programs for illegal aliens after a waiting period is a "travesty" and "an assault on the U.S. taxpayer."  Rector is exactly on target.  Consequently, neither Congress nor the Obama administration have any respect for the taxpayer.  They spend taxpayer dollars to pay off their cronies or fund those that are living on welfare.  President Obama stated his position best when as a candidate in 2008 he told Joe Wurzelbacher or "Joe the Plumber" that he believed in the "redistribution of wealth."  The federal government has for years taken money from higher income groups and redistributed to those who are living on welfare programs.  Now the government wants to grant welfare access to those illegals who aren't citizens of this country.  That's ridiculous.  Consequently, it's part of the overall plan of the elected elite to flood this country with illegals, grant them amnesty, and grant them healthcare and all the other welfare benefits poor people receive.  To read the full story, click on the above link from CNSNews.com.

McCain Sneaks Across Border, Visits Syrian Rebels

McCain sneaks across border, visits Syrian rebels | Fox News

Senator John McCain (R-AZ)

Senator John McCain slipped into Syria Monday with a meeting with Syrian rebels.  The GOP lawmaker has been one of the strongest advocates for increasing America's role in Syria and has become the highest ranking U.S. official to visit the country since civil war broke out more than two years ago.

Of all people, McCain knows what it's like to be in combat.  He was a navy pilot in 1967 during the Vietnam and his plane was shot down and he was a POW for 5.5 years in the Hanoi Hilton.  He knows that the U.S. didn't have a winning strategy to end the Vietnam War and that went on for years.  He also remembers how the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been conducted by both the Bush and Obama administrations.  We're still in the war in Afghanistan after being there since October 2001.  The last two presidential administrations have shown that they aren't serious about winning wars.  The last thing we need is to stick our nose where it doesn't belong in Syria.  We need to end our involvement in the Middle East.  We could do so if we make the Middle East irrelevant to our national security needs.  One way to do that is to stop importing oil from the Middle East.  The U.S. has enough natural resources to furnish our own oil.  We don't need to be involving ourselves with the Middle East.  Enough is enough.

McCain's position doesn't make sense.  Consequently, he has been politically compromised and he keeps on endorsing intervention when it's not going to benefit the U.S.  To read the full story, click on the above link from FoxNews.com.

Boy Scouts Change Membership Guidelines to Allow Homosexuals

The Boy Scouts of America have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals into their organization.  It's a great tragedy that an organization that was once so reputable as the Boy Scouts would compromise on such a travesty as sodomy.  The Bible declares in Romans 1 that sodomy is unnatural.  It's not natural or convenient to participate in that sordid lifestyle.  To allow homosexuals to exercise any kind of leadership role as a mentor to boys is abominable.  God help us!

Tea Party Receives a Boost After Being Targeted by IRS

Tea Party gets a bump after being targeted by IRS | Fox News

The Tea Party movement once again is showing signs of resurgence due to recent news that the IRS has been targeting conservative groups for the past several years.  The Tea Party is one example of the conservative groups the IRS has been targeting.  A recent poll shows that Americans are now having a more favorable opinion of the Tea Party group, which supports limited government, and lower rates of taxes.  One of the biggest groups in the grassroots movement told FoxNews.com that fundraising and donations have increased since news of the IRS targeting the Tea Party broke earlier this month.  One of the biggest questions now being asked can the Tea Party seize that momentum for the 2014 elections.

Many things could take place between now and the midterm election of 2014.  With the changing demographics in our country along with the complacency amongst many Americans, there's no guarantee that the Tea Party will have a better showing in next year's midterm elections.  If if Tea Party candidates do win in next year's midterm election, will they have the fortitude to stand against career politicians in Washington and take on the forces that control our elected elite?  There are some powerful forces that control Washington that many Americans aren't aware of.  Most of the Tea Party candidates that won the election in 2010 in both Houses of Congress haven't shaken up Congress.  They've just flowed with the crowd.  We don't need Tea Party candidates running for Congress that are going to flow with the crowd.  We need candidates that are willing to pay the price to stand up against the anti-American, anti-God, and anti-family forces in Washington D.C.  That's not going to be easy.  American needs God.  As thankful as I am for the formation of the Tea Party in 2009, they in themselves are not going to be able to change Washington.  There are some things that only God himself can do.

Bill O'Reilly: What Do You Owe Your Country?

Bill O'Reilly gave an interesting talking points segment last year on July 18, 2012.  He started off playing the segment from President Obama last year during his presidential re-election campaign last year.  Obama was speaking about entrepreneurs who built businesses and achieved greatly in the businesses world.  Obama was saying that the businessman didn't "build that" when it came to the success of their business.  Obama was saying that the federal government played a role in the success of their business.  He used the example of the internet and stated that through federal research, the government created the internet.  The internet wasn't created on its own.  That was part of President Obama's election ploy to promote the role of big government in the lives of Americans.  Of course, he's mentioned numerous times that the "rich" aren't paying their fair share of taxes.  I happen to disagree with him.  The top 5% pay most of the taxes in America.  That's not right.  The tax burden shouldn't be shouldered by the wealthiest Americans.  Everyone who works a job should pay the same percentage (flat tax) regardless of income levels.  We don't owe our country that much in taxes.  What's been taking place the last several decades is nothing but outright thievery by the federal government, regardless who occupies the Oval Office.  This "class warfare" mentality I believe is immoral.  We have groups of Americans that are envious of wealthy people.  That's not right.  I do recognize there are some wealthy that have made their money illegally, but the answer to that problem is to prosecute the individual that made their money in an illegal fashion.  Punishing the job creators and achievers is very un-American.  That's not what America was founded upon.  That's pure socialism.  What's tragic is more and more Americans are buying into the president's notion that the wealthier you are, then you should pay a much higher percentage in taxes vs. those who aren't wealthy.  Everyone should pay the same percentage, in my view.  The destruction of capitalism wasn't what this nation was founded upon.

You Didn't Build That! (Part 1)

During his campaign tours in Roanoake, VA last year, President Obama was making the point that those who were successful in business weren't successful through their own efforts or ingenuity.  They had to receive help somewhere.  He stated that businesses weren't built solely by entrepreneurs.  In other words, he was saying that they had to have the helping hand of Big Brother, which is the federal government.  The president was once again making another case for big government in one of campaign stops last year.  During that stump speech, he used the phrase, "You didn't build that!"  He said that on July 13, 2012.

Anyone who is not blinded by ideology or blinded by political party affiliation will recognize that he was saying that Big Brother needs to have his hand on everything that takes place in our daily lives.  He's a socialist who was schooled in Saul Alinsky's book, Rules for Radicals.  Anyone who knows American history recognizes that it wasn't the federal government that built this great nation or America's great economy.  America's economy was built by private businessesmen who were willing to take a risk and use their capital to start a business.  They created businesses through private initiative.  The economy grows through private sector businesses.  The government doesn't grow the economy.  As I've stated a number of times in numerous posts in the last couple of years, wealth is created through the private sector.  The federal government doesn't create wealth.  The government uses America's taxpayers dollars sent to them to disburse to certain sectors such as the military, the nation's infrastructure, or social programs to fund those things that are too big for the private sector to fund alone.  (I will add that I don't believe it's the federal government's job to spend taxpayer dollars on social programs.)  However, the nation's defense system and the infrastructure need to be funded through the federal government.  Anything else should be funded through the private sector.

Now I'm going to the heart of the matter.  The focus of this post is to flip that statement around (You didn't build that!), in a spiritual setting.  Mat:thew 16:18 says, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."  When it comes to the private sector business, we can say rightly so that President Obama is wrong in saying that businessmen didn't build their business without government help.  Numerous businesses have been created and thrived without the help of government.  However, when it comes to the church, which is a spiritual organism comprised of God's people, man didn't build the church.  Jesus pointed that out to Peter in Matthew 16:18 when he told Peter that He would build His church.  Man doesn't build it.  God's church isn't built by man.   What do I mean by that?  Am I referring to the physical edifice that we meet at each Sunday and refer to as the House of God?  No.  I'm not talking about the physical structure of the church.  However, I believe God wants the physical structure to be built and shaped in a certain way.  God was very specific in the Old Testament how he wanted the Tabernacle adorned.  It is true that men build churches in regards to the place in which we meet every Sunday for church.  Ephesians 2:10 states that we are his workmanship.  God uses men as his vessel when it comes to the church.  However, the New Testament church can't operate and function through the energy of the flesh.  The church can't function and fulfill its mission to the world unless it's empowered by the Spirit of God.  I'll finish this though in next Sunday's post, Lord willing.

Bill O'Reilly: America Needs to Wake Up!

In this talking points egemtn from Bikll O'Reilly, he boldly admonishing the American people that they need to wake up when it comes to the horrendous national deficit.  He stated the the President is not looking out for the country when it comes to federal spending.  I agree with that.   However, anyone that has any sense at all that's been paying any kind of attention the last four years should recognize that the president isn't looking out for the American people when it comes the well-being of our country in general.  The deficit is just one issue.  The president likes to party and travel around the world taking extravagant vacations at taxpayer expense.  That's no surprise there.  What disturbs me are the RINO's who pay lip service to Tea Party and social issues voters.  Representatives such as Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota want to make us believe she's on the same page with us is doing everything in her power to repeal Obamacare.  That's been her campaign issue the last few years.  However, she hasn't done anything to see that Obamacare be defunded in the House.  She also hasn't done anything to see that wasteful spending be stopped.  The GOP has control over the House of Representatives.  They can dictate how the federal dollars are spent.  She has never organized a coalition in the House to root up wasteful spending.  She also hasn't organized a coalition in the House to defund Obamacare.  She won't even push to have John Boehner removed as House Speaker.  Boehner is nothing but a political phony.  With her not trying to stop President Obama's agenda in the House tells me she isn't looking out for our country any more than the president is.  She enjoys the perks and benefits of being in Congress like all the other.  She ran for president in 2011 traveling around the country debating with her GOP colleagues knowing she had no chance to be the GOP nominee.  Participating in presidential debates was another way for her to raise her profile and rake in the dough.  There's money to be made in running for president.  All our Representatives and Senators are playing their role in the destruction of our country regardless of political affiliation.  Nationally speaking, there's no difference between the two political parties.

Anonymous Cincinnati IRS official: “Everything Comes From the Top"

Anonymous Cincinnati IRS official: “Everything comes from the top.” | WashingtonExaminer.com

There was a story in the Washington Post from Saturday which mentioned the Internal Revenue Service's Cincinnati office, which does most of the agency's nonprofit auditing, clearly contradicted earlier reports that the targeting of the nation's Tea Party groups was the result of rogue events.  The Post quoted a staffer in Cincinnati as saying they only operate on directives from headquarters.  I felt that way for some time.  The IRS is a collection agency.  Their job is to collect income taxes.  They are given orders to do what they do.  I don't believe they're targeting the Tea Party or conservative groups on their own.  I believe members of the U.S. Senate, the president, or maybe the Attorney General, give the IRS orders to carry out the hideous agenda of our federal government.  Senator Max Baucus from Montanta already admitted that he urged the IRS to target certain conservative groups before.  I believe there are others involved as well.

PAUL: A Staggering Abuse of Power

PAUL: A staggering abuse of power - Washington Times

Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, speaks at the Conservative Political Action Conference at the Gaylord National Hotel at National Harbor, Md., on Thursday, March 14, 2013. (Andrew Harnik/The Washington Times)Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)

I have linked up an article written by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul in the Washington Times.  He states that President Obama has been very abusive with power such as the Benghazi tragedy, for example.  Paul is correct on what he says in that article.  The truth is we've been seeing an abuse of power in both the White House and Congress for years.  It didn't start with President Obama.  For years the federal government has been bypassing the Constitution and been passing laws behind the backs of the American people.  The President, Congress, and the court system are always overreaching and stepping in where they don't belong.  We're seeing the establishment of a totalitarian government in America.  What we see taking place today isn't new.  We've been seeing the erosion of America's liberties in a dramatic way since 9/11 with Congress passing the Patriot Act of 2001.  We've been going on a downward spiral since.

Gosnell Receives Three Life Sentences in Abortion Case

Gosnell receives three life sentences in abortion case - Washington Times

Dr. Kermit Gosnell is escorted to a waiting police van upon leaving the Criminal Justice Center in Philadelphia on May 13, 2013, after being convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of three babies who were delivered alive and then killed with scissors at his clinic. (Associated Press/Philadelphia Daily News)Dr. Kermit P. Gosnell

Dr. Kermit P. Gosnell, an abortionist, was convicted Monday of three counts of first-degree murder of three infants, as well as the manslaughter of Karnamaya Mongar.  On Tuesday, Gosnell agreed not to appeal the verdicts in exchange for not having to face the death penalty.  The sentences are also punishment for 229 violations of Pennsylvania abortion regulations.  The 72 year old abortion was sentenced for 2.5 to 5 years in prison for the 2009 overdose death of one of his patients.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams stated, "I will not mince words.  Kermit Gosnell is a monster.  Any doctor who cuts into the necks, severing the spinal chords of living, breathing babies who would survive without proper medical attention, is a murderer and a monster."  I would go a step further and call any so-called doctor who would use surgical techniques to snuff out the life of an unborn baby as a monster and a murder.  Regardless whether or not an unborn child could be viable outside the mother's womb doesn't make an abortion any less of a murder.  Even if the unborn child wouldn't be viable outside the mother's womb that still would be murder in God's eyes.  Once a child is conceived, that is a human being.  That's another life inside the mother's womb.  There's nothing so tragic as murdering a child inside the mother's womb.  Abortion is just as wrong in God's eyes as infanticide is.  There's no difference.  Taking a baby's life is just as dastardly when it's not able to live outside the mother's womb as it is when the child is born.  Murder is murder.

Gosnell faces another trial in federal court on charges that he was running an illegal prescription drug operation outside his abortion clinic.  That trial is set to begin in September.

Sen. Max Baucus, Who's Heading IRS Hearings, Once Urged Agency to Target Conservative Groups

Sen. Max Baucus, who's heading IRS hearings, once urged agency to target conservative groups - Washington Times

Sen. Max Baucus, Montana DemocratSenator Max Baucus (D-MT)

I mentioned in Tuesday's post that I believe there is a member of the U.S. Senate who urged the IRS to target conservative groups.  As it turned out, I was right.  The Washington Times states the Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) a few years ago was actually urging the IRS to target conservative groups for extra oversight.  Now Baucus is supposedly leading the current investigation against the IRS's targeting of various conservative-minded non-profit groups.  He is the one responsible for once urging the IRS to target conservative groups.  Now he's switching sides which I believe is because criticizing the IRS offers him political expediency.  Political expediency is what these politicians are all about.  Anything that's politically expedient they go for.  He's nothing but a hypocrite and part of the problem with Washington.

IRS Scrutiny Went Beyond Tea Party, Targeting of Conservative Groups Broader Than Thought

IRS scrutiny went beyond Tea Party, targeting of conservative groups broader than thought | Fox News

An IRS campaign to apply additional scrutiny to conservative groups went beyond targeting "Tea Party" and "patriot" groups to include those focused on government spending, the Constitution, and several other broad areas.  That doesn't surprise me.  We have socialists in our federal government that are intent on quieting the opposition.  The way for them to do so is to apply additional scrutiny to conservative groups or conservative talk radio that oppose the agenda of President Obama, Democrats, or RINO's.  The leftists don't want anyone opposing their globalist agenda.  I know many conservatives scrutinize the IRS, but the Senate tells the IRS what to do.  I guarantee you there are Senators that have given orders to the IRS to target conservative groups that are a threat to the globalist agenda such as the Tea Party or any other group that promotes constitutional government.

Ways and Means to IRS: ‘Provide All Communications Containing Words ‘Tea Party,’ ‘Patriot,’ or ‘Conservative’—By Wednesday | CNS News

Ways and Means to IRS: ‘Provide All Communications Containing Words ‘Tea Party,’ ‘Patriot,’ or ‘Conservative’—By Wednesday | CNS News

Rep. Charles BoustanyHouse Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Boustany (R-LA)

The House Ways and Means Subcommittee on oversight has thrown down an investigative gauntlet to the Internal Revenue Service, demanding that the agency hand over this coming Wednesday every communication in its records which contain the words "tea party", "patriot", or "conservative."  The committee is also demanding of the IRS that it provide the committee with the names and titles of individuals who were involved in targeting conservative non-profit groups for more intensive review of the applications for non-profit status.  The request followed from a report from Friday from the Associated Press that Lois Lerner, director of the IRS Exempt Organizations Division, said at an American Bar Association conference that the IRS targeted for special review applications of non-profit groups that included the word "tea party" or "patriot".  The AP quoted Lerner as saying, "That was wrong.  That was absolutely incorrect, it was insensitive and inappropriate.  That's not how we go about selecting cases for further review."  Lerner said the IRS would like to apologize for that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the both the White House and Congress are behind the IRS targeting the Tea Party.  Many times the blame is placed on the IRS but the Senate tells them what to do.  I wouldn't be surprised if it was a liberal member of Congress that told the IRS to target Tea Party groups.  It wouldn't surprise me at all.  The Democrats in Congress as well as some Republicans would like to see the Tea Party's influence become marginalized.  Therefore, I'm not surprised the IRS has been targeting the Tea Party.

Heaven Will Never Welcome a Sweeter Momma

Things I Learned at My Mother's Knee

As I Looked Back

As I Looked Back on life
I find myself wondering
Did I remember to thank you
for all that you have done for me?
For all of the times you were by my side
to help me celebrate my successes
and accept my defeats?
Or for teaching me the value of hard work,
good judgment, courage, and honesty?
I wonder if I've ever thanked you
for the simple things...
The laughter, smiles, and quiet times we've shared?
If I have forgotten to express my gratitude
For any of these things,
I am thanking you now...
and I am hoping that you've known all along,
how very much you are loved and appreciated.

Lieberman: Boston Bombing Suspects: ‘Motivated by Violent Islamic Extremism’

Lieberman: Boston Bombing Suspects: ‘Motivated by Violent Islamic Extremism’ | CNS News

Joe LiebermanFormer U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CONN)

Former U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman said the enemy threat to the United States isn't just one group of terrorists such as Al-Qaeda, for example, but the ideology that drives people "to violent extremism," including the two brothers who killed three and maimed scores of others by placing others near the finish line at the Boston Marathon on April 15.  "We killed Bin Laden," Lieberman told CNSNews.com on Thursday during a recess of the House Homeland Security Committee hearing where he testified on the Boston attack.  "The core leadership of Al-Qaeda is on the run, but this ideology of violent Islamic extremism is spreading.  And it's beginning to infect people here in this country who are carrying it out--trying to carry out terrorist attacks."

Lieberman also summarized what House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Tx) said the other day and that is "You can't defeat an enemy unless you call it by its name.  There are terrorists other than those who are motivated by violent Islamic extremism."

It is true there are terrorists that aren't Muslims.  However, the biggest problem the U.S. and the world has had in the last few decades has revolved around Islamic terrorism.  What doesn't make sense is why does the U.S. allow Middle Easterners to come into our country when the U.S. was attacked by those kind of people on 9/11?  It doesn't make sense.  As long as our borders are open Islamic terrorists can sneak into our country.  Therefore, we can't defeat Islamic terrorism because we will always have that threat coming into our country unless our elected elite start following the laws on the books concerning illegal immigration.

House Homeland Security Chair: ‘You Cannot Defeat an Enemy You Refuse to Acknowledge’

House Homeland Security Chair: ‘You Cannot Defeat an Enemy You Refuse to Acknowledge’ | CNS News

Michael McCaulRep. Michael McCaul (R-TX)

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), said in his opening statement at a House Homeland Security hearing on the Boston Marathon terrorist attack "The radical jihad movement is alive and well" and warned that "you cannot defeat an enemy that you refuse to acknowledge."  The Homeland Security Chairman is exactly right.  The truth is the Obama administration isn't fighting the war against jihadism.  Instead, the government is in bed with the Middle East.  That's been that way within the last few decades irregardless who was president of the United States.  The way the Pentagon has prosecuted the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan tells me they aren't serious about winning a war.  Within the last few decades state officials such as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger or former presidents George H.W. Bush or George W. Bush have made deals with the Arab states.  The last two administrations have welcome Middle Easterners to come into our country despite the fact it was radical jihadists who attacked both World Trade Centers and the Pentagon on 9/11.  You can't trust any of our politicians.

If our elected elite were serious about going after Islamic terrorists, they would've already had the mission accomplished.  Instead they pacify them.  They've went after the liberties of U.S. citizens instead of closing our borders and stopping Middle Easterners from migrating to this country in the wake of 9/11.

Biden: Amnesty for 11 Million Illegals Would Be ‘Granting Them the Dignity and Respect They Deserve’

Biden: Amnesty for 11 Million Illegals Would Be ‘Granting Them the Dignity and Respect They Deserve’ | CNS News

Joe BidenVice-President Joe Biden

Vice-President Joe Biden, who was speaking at the Conference on the Americas yesterday in Washington D.C., told attendees from countries throughout the Western Hemisphere that every nation has to make "tough choices."  "In the United States, it means reforming our immigration system and 11 million undocumented men, women and children being able to come out of the shadows and be full participants in American life," Biden said.  "Imagine that--the dignity."  There's nothing dignified about that.  It's asinine for the U.S. to grant amnesty towards those that didn't go through the proper channels to obtain citizenship.  Why even bother having a Constitution or having laws about immigration if we're going to bypass them and allow reward those who are here illegally with citizenship?  That's a slap on the face towards those who immigrated to the United States legally.  It flies in the face of logic.

I guarantee if amnesty is passed, the United States as we know it will be forever gone.  It will be due to our elected elite allowing it to happen.  Our elected elite are part of this globalist scam to erase America's borders and merge the U.S. into a one-world government.

Rep. Frank PalloneRep. Frank Malone (D-NJ)

Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) told students at Rider University that conservatives are wrong to make deficit reduction a priority.  Speaking at the university's Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics on April 3, Pallone said the "right wing" is wrong.  He said the right wing, whom he was referencing the Tea Party, has made deficit reduction the main priority--the main economic priority.  He said he didn't think it should be.  Pallone says he believes in economic growth and that the only way to get out of the recession---is to have policies in Washington that create growth and therefore create jobs which therefore should eliminate the problems we have with Social Security Trust Funds and Medicare Trust Funds.

The truth is he's very wrong when he says that deficit reduction shouldn't be a top priority.  It should be.  He says he believes in creating policies that will encourage economic growth.  Does he believe in eliminating the present tax code and create a simpler tax code which will encourage businesses to invest more of their money in growing their business and hiring new workers?  Where does Pallone stand when it comes to Dodd-Frank and Obamacare?  Does he think Obamacare will help or hurt business?  The best policy for the government is to stay out of the affairs of the private sector as much as possible and allow the free market to work like it's supposed to.

Poll: Majority of Americans Not Concerned About Sequestration

Poll: Majority of Americans Not Concerned About Sequestration | CNS News

obamaPresident Obama

A new Gallup poll states that a majority of Americans (52%) aren't concerned aren't concerned about the sequester "cuts" and at least 17% say they think they are a good thing.  That's despite the fact that President Obama made the claim that across-the-board sequester budget cuts are damaging our country.  The truth of the matter is there aren't any real cuts being made.  If anything, the cuts the President is speaking of is a decrease in the rate of spending, but they aren't real budget cuts.  The government still continues spending frivolously on pet projects for certain Representatives and Senators.  There aren't any legitimate cuts being made.  It's just lies coming out from the Obama propaganda machine.
